Excellent value
I got a full litre of gesso for £10.99 while other brands are charging more money for half a litre or less. This stuff dries quite fast and contrary to the instructions, you don't really need to wait two hours between coats. 45 minutes will do. I usually brush on 5 or so coats to a preprimed canvas and it's lovely and soft. Some people recommend sanding it afterwards for a totally smooth surface but I don't bother with that. It's excellent stuff!
