Overly engineered masterpiece

This does not wear out like the aluminum ones. This will last longer than I will be around. Highly recommended and good job by the designer & manufacturer. It is so rare these days to see a company build something that is actually designed to LAST. Planned obsolescence is EVIL and basically enslaves you to a sort of subscription model for your tangible goods...don't even get me started on modern appliances. My grandmother's refrigerator (from the 1960s, with some maintenance along the years) was still working FINE when she died. My dad's refrigerator, washer and dryer lasted MY WHOLE LIFE at home until he died and I sold his house...over 20 years. My current refrigerator, bought new 5 years ago, already falling apart and was always noisy.. ...anyway, if you drink things out of bottles then buy this, it's a no-brainer.

Best bottle opener I’ve owned. It is a bit pricey but the quality makes up for it. I also use it as a mini pry tool and a package opener. It will definitely last me a long time.

It’s beautiful. Looks and feels designed with great attention to detail. I only wish there was also another just like it, but a bit longer, to hold it comfortably with my hand closed. I would buy it too!

This titanium bottle opener key chain comes in a giftable cardboard tube. The bottle opener is fitted to a paper card in the tube. AEROCRAFTED is laser etched into one side of the opener. The inner jaw of the opener is slightly sharp - it won't cut anything but it could wear through the fabric of a pocket if it catches on it. It works like its supposed to and the claimed weight of 0.44oz is spot on with what I measured on my scale (12.5g). Its a very small opener but you don't need a lot of leverage to pop off a bottle cap. The product itself is great but the price for it is pretty steep. I get that titanium is a somewhat exotic material and is more difficult to manufacture things out of, but there are no practical benefits to this titanium opener over the common aluminum ones. The aluminum ones are actually lighter - the one pictured came in at 8.5g. Titanium is actually heavier than aluminum, but since its stronger you can save weight by using less of it. I think that this would appeal to someone that has a personal connection to the titanium material. It is common in aerospace, medical, motorsports, and energy applications, so someone that works around it might really like being able to have a useful chunk of this material in their pocket.

Very happy with the purchase and it works but it is small, in fact, it's very small. I know that this means that it is easily transportable but given it weighs next to nothing already, making it slightly bigger (for those of us with large hands at least) might make it more ergonomically pleasing and easier to use as a result. I would love to see a magnet incorporated into the tip of the opener, I have other bottle openers that incorporate magnets and it really helps you to get more traction and grip when opening bottles, something that would help a lot in this case given its size.
