Q: What wax do you use to darken the paint?

I use Rustoleum wax to bring out the colours and tones and to protect the surface. It gives a wonderful finish but don't be tempted to use too much! Have fun!

Q: I have had this delived to day but it not the same colour has it is advertising thank you .

Colours come up darker even with the clear wax or varnish

Q: Can I use this on my bannister on my stairs

The Chalky Finish Furniture Paint is designed to provide a distressed look and for this reason can be easily removed and is a soft paint which requires a protective top coat due to this. A more suitable paint, also providing a flat matt finish, is the Matt Furniture Paint which is a durable cleanable paint which doesn't require a protective top coat.
