GAS/ELECTRIC WHITE METER BOX SPARES- LATCH/LOCK,HINGES & KEY

All I needed was the key and the brass pin out of the package. The pin seemed to be too thin for the door I have, so I had to squeeze in a thin piece of cardboard with the pin and hammer it in.The pin seemed like it won't come out easily but only time will tell. If it fails I will come back to update this comment

Easy to fit seems sturdy enough

Meter box latch broke and the door was flapping in the wind. This kit did just the job to replace the old latch. I did have to modify slightly by cutting a tab off of the latch so it fit the door but it was easy with some side cutters.

Not a bad price, could be better with more spare pins

Couldn’t be happier with it. Just the fact that it exists is great! Really easy to fit, good quality parts. Well packed and fast postage. Very happy all round!

I purchased this product for my Gas meter box hinge pins were missing. The Pins in the pack are for an Electric meter box and not Gas, also the lock in the pack is not the same as mine i had to cut the back raised bit of the lock. Not happy

This wee kit was amazing! Excellent value for money, given it includes a key. I didn’t need the hinge pins, the lock mechanism just “popped in” so easy, 1 minute job and the box is now locked, can’t believe I’ve had it gaffer taped closed for over a year when this is so easy and does the job for under £7!

Saved me having to buy a new gas meter box. Brilliant.
