Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Elite Edition Quadricopter (Jungle)

What a fab big boys toy !!! Bought this for my sons 11th birthday and now he is the envy of all his dads friends. The drone flies so easily and is very simple to control. Its very sturdy and stable unlike the old helicopters. The flips are great and again simple to perform. The video quality is fab. Definitely a great buy. Oh and we recommend you get some spare batteries because you will want more than the 15 min fly time you get.

The first drone I bought was difficult to fly due to a fault so was returned.The replacement is so easy to control once you master the controls. If unlike me you are used to using game controllers you will not have any problems. I found that flying in anything other than calm conditions could be risky, but in all conditions flying smoothly is a good idea. Using absolute control for me was not so responsive but good to get you started. The standard battery only lasts around 10mins, but orther ones are available that last longer. Happy flying.

The drone is well made and quite sturdy. The forward facing camera provides good detail, whereas the under camera has very quality and is really pointless at a 640x480 resolution. The takeoff and land features are excellent, with the latter serving to prevent accidents and breakages. I have found the drone quite difficulty to control with a delay in reaction to commands. In a confined space it would be a nightmare!

Battery Life is rubbish!!

I have just been out for my first flight and it was great fun, the first battery charge took 1 hour and i got about 10 mins out of my first flight while constantly recording 720p video, i will be tweaking a few things to see what effect it has on the battery life, but from what i understand, this is about normal (i also purchased a lager spare battery that i will need to test). I have edited the video and uploaded it with no trouble (in app purchase of £2.99 for director mode needed to edit video, but you can film and upload without it). Flying it was very easy and if you feel you are about to do something silly, all you need to do is let go of the controls and it will steady its self and just hover.

A bit unstable. No phisical controls. Only by smart phone or tablet. Great video quality . I recomend buying a newer model.

Superb Flyer. Gave this to my nephew on Christmas day, he moved into superlatives immediately. Very stable in flight, and seems easy to control from his smartphone. I bought an additional battery with a longer endurance than the one supplied, to enable a longer flight time. If you want to become a favourite uncle this is one way to do it.

Als Anfänger im Drohnen Flug suchte ich eine gute,aber auch günstige Drohne und bin bei der Parrot AR 2.0 Elite fündig geworden. Die Drohne überzeugt mit einer robusten Bauweise, einer sehr guten Kamera und leichter Bedienung per App. Eine sehr gute Drohne für Anfänger, wenn man die Versicherung nicht vergisst.

C'est un bel objet qui se pilote facilement assez rapidement. Toutefois, attention à la réglementation en vigueur sur l'usage des drones. La qualité de film est très bonne. Attention aussi à l'utilisation lorsqu'il y a du vent, car il est très sensible et à vite fait de faire des embardées ou d'atterrir on ne sait où... Un bémol, l'autonomie : 10-12 min pour un investissement de 300€, c'est, tout de même, un peu léger...

Ottimo prodotto di ottima fattura; qualità prezzo corretta vista anche la tecnologia. Da utilizzare comunque con poco vento. Il controllo non è proprio immediato e la connessione Wi-Fi è limitante nella portata e nella precisione: spesso il drone fa quello che vuole e risponde ai comandi in ritardo a volte atterrando "dolcemente" in autonomia, anche con batteria molto carica e disabilitando le altre connessioni dell'iPad (telefono e Bluetooth). Utilizzato in aperta campagna, e quindi in assenza di disturbi radio di vario genere, la problematica del controllo non cambia. Valutate bene cosa sorvolare in quanto potrebbe capitare che vi scenda (se va bene!!) "a terra" a sua discrezione. Potendo scegliere investirei qualcosa in più per un oggetto semi professionale con telecomando dedicato. Premio comunque lo sforzo nel realizzare un prodotto di alta tecnologia ad un prezzo "contenuto"

Llego a tiempo.Buen funcionamiento para un principiante y FPV muy bueno.Facil de pilotar.La camara no es muy buena. Por el precio que tiene hay drones muchisimo mejores con doble gps,punto de interes,aptos para camaras gopro,motores mas potentes...

Tengo otros dos drones tipo chino, y este no se parece en nada a ellos, este es el profesional. Bueno el profesional a un precio asequible, porque los DJI son los mejores, pero menudo precio. Me encanta como se posa el solo en el suelo, cuando se queda sin baterias o pierde el contacto contigo. Te quita la preocupación de que ocurre si se queda sin batería en pleno vuelo. Bueno en realidad una vez me jugó una mala pasada al quedarse sin batería posarse en un sitio malo. Su punto malo es la aplicación de control, ya que tiene unos controles en pantalla, pero al mismo tiempo reacciona al balanceo del móvil. Como no te lo indica, intentas controlarlo con los controles, y el dron hace lo que le da la gana, hasta que te das cuenta de que al mover el movil le estas dando indicaciones sin darte cuenta.
