Gorgeous book with great recipes- a new favorite!

So far so good! The book is gorgeous! Recipes are simple! I have only made the fluffy pancakes (yummy), the stir fry (instead of noodles, I just use white rice- delicious), and the breakfast smoothie (sweetness depends on you and the amount of honey/maple you use- good). I’m excited to go through this beautiful eye candy of a book with simple yet delish recipes! I know this book is for young chefs, but it’s great for adults that want to make fast easy food!I love that this book does incorporate a lot of the “better for you” ingredients like spelt flour, maple, honey, etc... It’s not overboard to where you lose the flavor from having too many “better for you” ingredients if you know what I mean.6/13/2019 I tried the chocolate banana brownies. They turn out fine, but definitely not my cup to tea. It uses dates, bananas, almond mean, cocoa, and vanilla extract. It has no dairy or eggs. The taste was just a little too different to my liking. Maybe someone who likes/loves chocolate candy with cherry flavors in the inside would appreciate this. As for me, I don’t like chocolate cherries, and this taste similar to chocolate cherries with a little taste of bananas in them..

I ordered a used copy and it was a bit more ‘worn’ than expected, but otherwise happy with the purchase

I have 3 Donna Hay cook books. All are beloved. This one is my favorite by far. Full disclosure, I have an addiction to cookbooks. I buy them to cook from them. But I don't like cookbooks with odd ingredients and the more pictures the better.All of Donna's cook books have pictures. This one is beautiful. The photos are slick, the ingredients not exotic, the food delish. I highly recommend this cookbook if you are a foodie that likes to cook and maybe impress your family while you're at it.

This is aesthetically beautiful – for kids! It matches mama design and pleased the kids! Love that it’s an elevated cookbook for littles!If you know a serious baker in your life with little kids in the kitchen, this would make a great gift!

This cookbook is my absolute favorite kids cookbook and has been given as a gift many times over. I honestly want to just buy them in bulk so I always have a gift on hand. My daughters 10-12 year old friends love it!

I loved the original format of Donna’s cookbooks and was not immediately in love with this one. But ... it grew on me to the point that I have already used it several times. The different applications from one basic recipe are a great way to show any cook how easy it is to be creative in the kitchen. A winner.

I sent this book to my granddaughter in California as a gift for Christmas. She completely loves it and I think will find it very useful for many years to come. She’s 11 now and is developing a love of cooking, so I think this book was the right one for her.

i WAS DELIGHTED WHEN I FOUND THIS BOOK AND WAS ABLE TO DELETE THIS OF MY TV,I AM VERY DISSAPIONTED AS ITS DARK AND ALOUGH THE RECIPES ARE THEIR I NEED A LIGHT ONTO READ THE RECIPES, SHE IS A WONDERFUL CHEF, AND A STYLIST, BUT AFRAID I NEED A RECIPETHAT HAS A CAN READ WITHOUT A TORCHSORRY

My grandson who is 5 has just made a brill chock cake using the book. Please be carefull the first of these books I purchased was in Dutch. All of the large print on the front of the book was in English but the small stuff at the bottom was in Dutch but I did not notice. so please be careful when ordering from Amazon.

This is an amazing cook book for many reasons. First of all it looks amazing and is very easy to use as well as enjoyable to simply look at and read. It's great for beginners as well as having great ideas for confident cooks! Just buy it!Oh and there is a great TV show based on the book.

I love this book! It is very healthy using very little sugar mainly dates for sweeteners, and I think some of the recipes are definitely for Australia’s food market. That said it is a great book for kids as really does present well and provide inspiration for them.

This is my favourite cookbook of all time, it's beautifully presented and makes for a fantastic gift. It teaches you how to make one staple and then provides 3 or 4 other recipes that the staple would go in. I've made so many of the recipes and absolutely love them!
