Have fallen hoplessly in love with them, even though I don't like Audio Visual Online as a trader.
This item was not new, but was listed as new. Bought from Audiovisual Online. There are no words as far as how good the speakers are. These speakers are actually quite small. Meaning if you take the covers off, they drivers are quite small. .... Yet the cabinets are heavy, and there's really some space to the boxes. However on a good amplifier like the Rega Brio (2017 version), they are simply out of this world. They sound like proper good sized speakers. There is none of that strange colouration from odd small sized speaker packages. They make a proper grown up mature speaker sound, of exceptional quality for the price. There's a bit of compromise on the bass, as you would expect. Both the M10 and M20 are specified down to 50Hz, but apparently you can expect more bass from the M20. They do however go further down into the bass than my previous Q Acoustics BT3 did. The result is a more balanced sound. Secondly my BT3 tended to punch hard in the bass, whereas the M10 just make the bass sound. Meaning the M10 are easier to listen to, and bass notes don't hit through the walls and floors of my home.

Great sound handbuilt in Denmark
These are five star what hifi reviewed speakers and are still in their recommended list for speakers under £1k. I can confirm that they are excellent speakers and the review from what hifi was spot on. They look great in white too as I wasn’t sure whether to play it safe and order black but I’m glad I didn’t now. They also come with an eight year warranty if you register with the manufacturer. I have personally used in the last twenty years three well known manufacturers speakers and these Dynaudios are the best amongst the ones I’ve tried. In my view speakers have the most influence on how a hifi sounds, and these have given my hifi a new lease of life. They also aren’t made in China!

Fortunately I can report this is a lovely sound speaker
If you are new to hifi, you'll soon learn that all speakers have a unique difference. Some make you tap your toes, some bring a smile, some leave you perplexed and some sound so bright you'll think it's been fed helium. Fortunately I can report this is a lovely sound speaker, however their is a slight flaw and I'll go into that more depth later in the review.I'll break this into a few sections so you can skip to a part that you find interesting.Background.I currently own a pair of sonos play 1's and these really are the best value speakers I have ever bought, but with no aux or other connection really limit their use to only music (which is fine if that's all you ever listen too).I was really after something that would offer the same musicality of the play 1's as well as the ability to play different sources such as from my TV and various consoles. Having read reviews on the Emit M10's I thought these would not only step up to the plate, but go past the plate into a new realm of music fidelity... this is where I am finding it a mix bag. I should note I bought this with a Pioneer VSX 930 AV receiver.Sound.Well this is the mix bag, depending on the genre of music and sources you play, can dramatically alter your perception of this speaker. Currently my music is being streamed mainly from Spotify, with the odd flac being streamed from airplay. The quality is very good from these sources, but somehow it does not have the same attack and drive of my play 1's. Audio is clear, precise and articulate in many tracks and never has there been a time that I have felt that the speaker has become muddied.Lows, is something this speaker does not seem to do well with. Don't get me wrong, there is bass but a sub would really really help do this speaker justice. Highs however are really something special, voices soar nicely without being harsh. To appreciate this speaker, do not play on low volumes, this speaker really comes in at mid volumes, where details really start becoming expressive.Styling.For these speakers to excel, having a good amount of space is recommended to really open the sound stage. Currently mine are set 5 meters apart and this is a good start, but ideally I'd want more.Stunning, love love love. Really can't say enough good things about how good this speaker looks. Of course you are more likely to buy a speaker for it's sound rather than what it looks like... unless you're a die hard B&O fan. I went for the white and this really looks gorgeous.Overall.These are really great value speakers, a great all rounder, but a sub would really help add to the lows. If music is your only need, I'd honestly look the Sonos Play 1's. You'll get an equal if not slightly better quality of audio for a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for something more versatile, this would be a fantastic choice.
