The bearing we're sized as stated and installed easily. And, I am gliding again.

Gliding chair bearings
I'm building a couple of gliding swivel rocking chairs from scratch. 1st time. Making the holes correctly in the wood, these work great. I'm not finished making them yet, but I made the gliding parts to go in the chair and am pleased how they came out.

These saved my glider rocker
My glider rocker (or whatever it's called) developed broken bearings to the point of the little balls themselves falling out, so something had to be done. I took the chair apart to measure my bearings. They had M10 bolts at about 45mm, but I couldn't find replacements with M10 bolts.I took a chance on these (M8.5 x 45mm). They fit just fine where it matters. The smaller diameter bolt turns out not to be a critical factor.I did reuse the old large washers that have the 3 screw holes because the holes on the new washers were slightly closer to the center of the washer. I guess I could also have drilled new pilot holes that fit the new washers but this seemed quicker.Fresh out of the package, the new bearings were hard to turn just by hand. However, once installed, the chair now glides smoothly and is noise-free.It was harder to get the old bearings out than it was to put the new ones in. The whole job took a little over 2 hours.

So, you do need to know how to replace these which means you have to have a bit of woodworking experience, if your glider is made of wood that is. But these install easy once you have your glider torn apart. Now the glider chair is very smooth and very enjoyable to sit in

Do not buy, bearing is loose and no lubricant inside
Do not buy those bearings. They are already loose and there is no lubricant inside. As soon as you put some lubricant, the rolling is really bad and noisy
