Fits well in my Skoda superb 2011. Bigger amp than I needed but seems to work well. Let's hope it lasts a while.

Although it was advertised as delivery in 4 days it was delivered next day. The battery was easy to fit and hasn't let me down in the first few weeks of use. Although my Golf Cabriolet is not stop start i spent the extra on a better battery as the electric roof and a new head set with Apple Play might potentially give a bit of a drain on a cheaper battery. Also driving on Europe's roads I didn't want to give the car any excuse not to start. Slightly larger than the previous battery but still fitted in the place where it was meant to go. It had good reviews on lots of websites and from the professionals I was happy to pay the extra for a good quality battery.

The alternator on my Merc failed and took the battery with it. The old battery was obviously a cheapo, and after some research I chose this replacement because of the cold cranking power, which was twice the rating of the duff battery and the extra amps were noticeable as they turned the engine over much faster. If you have air con, lights, heated seats, stereo etc turned on at engine start, the battery has to be able to give the systems enough power. As a bonus, a problem with the electronic boot release has also disappeared since fitting the Bosch.You can get cheaper alternatives with less power, but the high output of the Bosch swung it for me. I've always been impressed with Bosch quality and this one didn't disappoint. Five stars to EuroCarParts too. The packaging was very secure, the battery in a foam cradle inside a box. Oh yeah! Halfords wanted £116 for it!

It’s a car battery…… slight smaller than the old one but the same ratings. Works perfectly.

Battery arrived feebly wrapped in a couple of brown paper sheets inside a large cardboard box.It should have been suspended in foam blocks.Battery was cracked at base and leaking acid. I Got a refund but disposal is down to me unfortunately.Waiting for the acid to drain off fully before I put it in my car boot to take to local skip recycling centre.

Should I buy and get it fitted from a dealer, or buy and fit it myself?Well, I deliberated on this new battery from Amazon for 6 months or so following BMW advising me that my rear demister gave up the ghost because my BMW Battery was no longer up to the job and that the computer shuts down some operations to give power to starting. That along with the fact that each time I searched, Amazon flashed up a warning to advise me "This battery does not fit your 3.25i". As a result, I was constantly measuring the battery in the car to ensure what I thought was the size, and searching the net for any information I could glean, whilst also watching videos of how to take out the old Battery and how to fit the new one, along with all of the other attachments with wiring and a drain pipe. Even though this Battery was available for a lower price elsewhere and I seen Amazon selling it lower too, I thought that with all my uncertainty I would press the button which I did.4 days later my new battery arrived via EuroCarparts.. Brilliant service, and extremely well packaged, That in itself gave me a feeling of assurance.To help me take out the old one and fit the new one I watched the online video, pausing it at every stage. Once out I put it next to my old BMW Battery and it was exactly the same size, great I thought, another tick in the box. Installing it was just as easy using the online video.After resetting the date and time, and the radio stations (coz some were missing but which have since returned after driving through the appropriate region) I was ready to go. This seemed far easier than some of the reviews had lead me to believe.Well, what can I say, my car started almost before I had pushed the button in fully. That's FANTASTIC I thought, 'BEAMING' ALL OVER MY FACE.. and a month later it still turns and starts the car extremely fast, Oh. and the rear Demister is working just fine. WHAT MORE COULD A MAN WANT! WELL HAPPY AND SAVED A MINT!
