Hangqiao Snner Embossing Mat Silicone

Very good mat for the price. I will be using this on a wedding cake. The design is VERY intricate and does take some patience to release but is well worth the end results. When the lace is cool it can be cut in places enabling the design to stretch randomly instead of a "block" pattern. Quite small (about 6in) so you need quite a lot of pieces for a tiered cake so would be worth buying a few to save time and electric but all in all good value for money would recommend to EXPERIENCED decorators. I think a novice might need to,practice.....don't give up if you find this difficult you will be so pleased with the results.

I would only rate this mould to be of use with the product used for lace mats. The mould is so shallow, it is impossible to use in the normal way you would with a deeper mould and sugar paste.

So far I find this is not for making lace with fondant although I'll give it a few more tries, but does a good job of embossing so I'm happy with it.

You have to practice. make sure the mix is 'goopy' for it to work. Leave time for it to dry/set before using. Nice pattern which is deep

I used this product to make home made lace for card making after watching a video on you tube.Didn't go well at first due to user error! but after a few attempts worked perfectly.
