Nice, the knives are sharp enough to cut a meal. They look just as good as Pictured.

Giving it a 4 star as I am returning them. Quality is nice, they feel study and color of the wood is great. I am concerned that the knives will not cut well. I didn’t use them, however, I am returning them only because of my opinion in the cutting quality.

I really like these utensils. Have only used them twice. The 2nd time (today actually), I was picking the spoon (eating a stew) and got a weird taste on my tongue, nothing of which I put in it. Sorta tasted like a menthol, taste it on the tip mostly. Quite odd. Anyone else notice it? What kind of oil was used on the spoons? Yes, I did hand wash them, with Dawn, in hot water before using. The taste lingers for a bit, not strong, very subtle, but noticeable (by me anyway).
