Looking forward to using it.
I am waiting for special part to finish my engine build so I haven't been able to use this yet but the info on this product looks great for my engine. My engine has plain flat lifter faces on the cam followers and an oil system that does not prioritize oil flow to the cam area (similar with cam bushes) so I'm particularly interested in a good assembly lube to keep my engine parts from being damaged at start up.I think that this will be good, I like the zinc content rating.

The stuff works pretty good.
Stays on with a grease like consistency so it's good for engine builds that will sit for awhile.

Great engine assembly lubricant
I've been using the CRC Sta-Lube for years now. It does not move, so I don't have to worry about it running into places I don't want it, and it provides a nice thick coverage layer on bearings/cam lobes/crank journals, etc.. I also use it on the bottom of bolt heads and threads when torquing if I do not have access to ARP ultra torque lubricant. The size of the tube is just about right for my hand size and the nozzle is about the right length, although perhaps slightly longer wouldn't hurt. Works great for manual transmission parts as well.To note, if you're installing a crankshaft into a block and you're used to using a less viscous assembly lubricant, such as the Permatex ultrastick, or even just engine oil, the rotational friction will be slightly higher with the Sta-Lube because it is thicker. Just something to keep in mind if you're changing to the CRC for the first time.

Great assembly lube.
The 10 oz tube of Sta Lube is the best value for the money 4 oz size costs almost as much. As others have said be sure to shake and knead the tube before applying to parts to ensure the lube is mixed properly.

Your new cam’s savior!
Old school moly lube, nice and sticky. Put it all over my new cams and lifters, haven’t lost a cam yet. Put it on and do a proper break in. Product is must for flat tappet cams along with using an oil high in ZDDP.

Great for transmission rebuilds
I rebuilt the 5 speed manual transmission for my Suzuki samurai, and there was more than plenty in a single tube to do the whole transmission.
