Your trampoline is going nowhere with these bad boys fixing it!
These guys weigh a ton and mean business. We live in a very windy area, on a plateau really. We bought our wee man a massive trampoline (kind of for me too, if I am being honest) but was really concerned about the wind picking it up and someone getting hurt.I was a little cautious when buying it but the quality is absolutely great. They arrive in a sturdy cardboard box that does the job keeping all the pointy metal together. Driving them into the ground was simple, just used a normal claw hammer and in they went. It's been almost a year now and had no issues, even though we've had numerous storms.*Disclaimer* - I did buy 2 sets as our soil is very soft and I was a bit worried the soil wouldn't be able to hold them in high winds. I also set them at an angle, each one slightly off from the other to increase it's staying power.I couldn't use the corkscrew ones, we tried one before and it didn't go in because there is a lot of flint that stopped it dead.

Ideal for trampolines!
I looked at several people selling trampoline tie down systems using a corkscrew and tie down system. They all had mixed reviews, but importantly a lot of people had them breaking due to weak plastic components which will unlikely last the test of time and sunlight (UV).I saw these are took some measurements and the 'hook' part looked a good size to clamp down on the trampoline base in contact with the ground. They are also galvanised like the trampoline frame so unlikely to suffer from any mixed metal galvanic corrosion.I ordered and they came quick. A big hammer later and the trampoline is now firm. It looks much neater too than most of the other systems. If they do pull loose, then I'll probably use some post mix and concrete them in.

Unsuitable: shanks are far too short
I bought these to anchor our sheep shelter, but having survived some winds, all were pulled out of the ground during the High winds in early December.I had been nervous about the length but the reviews and my answered questions suggested that they would hold...I was offered a refund on returning them, but given the postage charge was almost the same price, I haven't!I have had some very sturdy (and heavy) 24" angleine steel posts with plates welded to the tops fabricated which have been hammered home across the shelter's skids which are now holding it firmly in place! I still check them every day though!

good solidpegs
I bought a packet of 8 of these pegs to secure the swing bought for my grand children. The small tent pegs supplied meant that the legs were immediately lifting. These stakes are too big to go through the small peg hole on the swing's legs so I secured each leg with two stakes, overlapping from opposite sides and inserted tight against the legs as well as the original peg.So far the swing is holding firm.

Perfect for trampolines.
Absolutely spot on. Fitted them on a 10ft trampoline and they're incredible sturdy and strong. They're nice and heavy, thick and are a perfect fit. The ridges which go all the way down mean they're really easy to hammer into the grass. Our trampoline is a lot more safe and secure. Definitely worth buying.

Just what I needed
Needed to keep an Egg Chair from being blown over in the wind, I bought some smaller stakes that were pretty useless and didn't work. These stakes were perfect and have done the job, the chair hasn't moved an inch !Would recommend.

Really happy with these
Really happy with these. I used these to keep down a walk in chicken run. I didnt realise how thick they would be. You need a good hammer to get them in. A bit expensive when you look at it originally but ive got peace of mind now that the chicken run will stay down.

4/10
This is an item brought for someone else as a gift- so the following is the review of from the person.“ These weren’t the best for what I intended to use them for. But they did do the job, but didn’t last that long at all. They are very thin and weak and not the strongest or most durable. Will probably not buy these again. “ - D.R
