Aurora 12748 9-inch Great Horned Owl, Grey and White

The owl turned up well packaged & inside the time limit! I am very happy with this purchase as the colours are far nicer than shown on the picture & the body is well made! I used the owl as part of our Christmas decoration which has a woodland theme. Although, a soft toy, I would not recommend this for small children as the feet have some sort of wire inside the body , so that the owl stands up properly but it is made well enough, not to poke through & is not noticeable as everything is well padded.

Well, I have had this in my basket for several years before finally taking the plunge recently, and I am so glad I finally did. He is super cute and, although not the softest of cuddly toys, looks good in his current position on the sofa and would be equally at home as a shelf decoration or - in a bed.The fur doesn’t quite manage the tug test, by which I mean strands will come out if you pull it, so keep it away from any youngsters for whom that could be a problem.I really like him and he was worth waiting several years to get. I should have been wiser and bought him before.

I am not sure how this would stand up to the rigours of being a toy but as a decorative piece it is lovely.

This is a good size toy, but isn't quite like the picture. It's a little bit weird looking and not particularly hugable. Definitely better options out there if it's for a child.
