Macallen Professional Modelling Balloons - 260q Pack of 100

Being new to the world of "twisting", I really had no idea what to look for, so made my purchase decision based on colours, price vs quantity and what other buyers had said. With all that in mind, these lovely balloons have not disappointed.The colours are bright and cheerful, though there's less purple and brown - and no grey or white - balloons, and only one shade of blue. However, for amateurs making balloon swords for kids on a pirate walk like me, they're just fine in terms of selection; all the major bases are covered, and in plentiful quantity.A friend and I gave twisting a shot in a cafe (hilarious - recommend that!) with some youtube tutorials, and found these balloons easy to work with once we got over the initial "IT'S GOING TO POP!" which I think everyone goes through. I think it says more about the quality of the balloons than our impressive skills that, out of 10 balloons that we used, only a single one popped. That balloon split along its edge into a single piece that was easy enough to retrieve (in case people are worried about bits flying about or children being in the line of fire!).Three days on, and the balloon swords we made that day are still looking good, though they've gone a bit soft. I'm quite impressed at how well the models have retained their shape.All in all, very pleased with these - and with the new skill they're encouraging and the hilarity and delight that practising it in public places causes. :)

Lost some when blown too big but only a few . Well worth the money and a few casualties to be expected as my daughter is nine and unfamiliar with the task she was able to use you tube sbd the set to master 6 different balloons in a few hours

The pack arrived today and my daughter was straight in. Balloon modelling is her absolutely passion so we have tried many balloons and this pack received her approval. There are around 10 different colours - two pinks which is essential. We haven’t had any burst balloons yet so the 100 pack should last a couple of weeks. They are easy to tie and easy to work into shapes. Recommended.

My children have recently become very enthusiastic about balloon modelling and as a result had exhausted our supply rapidly. I was able to buy these at a good price and they arrived quickly. I have nothing to compare with so not sure if the quality is as expected, a few popped but it's balloons, that's what I would expect.

Cheaply made balloons that you can’t model with as they pop easily due to being too thin and also a lot of them have pin prick holes in before inflating. Wouldn’t recommend. Waste of money!!

These balloons are sold as 260q. The 260 part of the designation (2" diameter, 60" length when fully inflated) is accurate. The q (which conventionally signifies that the balloon is made by Qualatex) is not. These are not Qualatex balloons (hence the low price).These balloons feel noticeably less supple than Qualatex. They are harder to inflate by mouth and more prone to bursting during tight twists. They're OK for simple, one-balloon models, but not suitable for more complicated or multi-balloon models.On the plus side, the colours are lovely.They're OK for a hobbyist wanting some cheap balloons to practice with. For a professional entertainer they will represent poor value for money - models will take longer to make and will fail more quickly and more frequently than with Qualatex balloons.

I bought these balloons for some family fun with balloon modelling at Christmas and they did the job brilliantly!The balloons came in a variety of vibrant colours: black, orange, blue, white, pink, green and blue.They were pumped up using a normal small hand balloon pump which worked perfectly fine. Also once pumped up they kept their shape and did not deflate. You NEED a pump of some sort to inflate the balloons - you cannot blow them up with your mouth!!The balloons were of very good quality- they rarely popped when tying and twisting them into various shapes and they did not have a strong chemical smell associated with balloons. The texture of the balloons was perfectly adequate - not sticky or slimy!All in all I am very happy with the product and it was very good value for money. The cheapest price I could find online included other bidding websites.Obviously I am not a professional balloon modeller so I cannot rate them on that perspective but to me they seemed perfect.The item arrived very fast in good time and packaged well.

Firstly good range of colours however what was very disappointing was that i got alot of some colours and not alot of others. For example I got 22 bright pink, 5 orange, 17 yellow, 6 dark green etc etc. I just thought with getting an assorted lot of balloons there might be more consistency in the number of each colour.Balloons are very thin when inflated.

Couleur vive et originale. Mais très dessus de la qualité de la matière. Les ballons éclate simplement en les gonflant.
