Good assortment Maplin Solder Station compatible
These are a perfect fit for my aging Maplin solder station and have transformed it to the point that it works as well as it did when new. There is a sensible assortment of sizes - although I will probably never use a couple of the larger ones. They heat up quickly - I have never trusted the temp. display on my solder station as it seems to report what the tip temperature “should be” rather than the temperature that it actually is - however, these tips warm up quicker than another type of aftermarket replacement tips and are not far behind the display. Good product that I will purchase again when needed.

Good value tips.
Ten tips and iron casing; bought specifically to use with Maplin 'Precision Gold A55KJ Digital Soldering Station'.The tips and casing are compatible with aforementioned Maplin soldering station, and appear to work well.Good value tips that are more than sufficient for my occasional use and appear to function better than the original tip.Happy to recommend on this basis.

Excellent tips, I use them with a Hakko soldering station. work a treat. I was'nt sure if they would work, as it was a very late buy. I'm glad i bought them.

Arrived very quick from China and these are super for the price.I purchased a soldering station a couple of weeks ago and it came with only 3 tips but these are really good and there is everything you need for the workstation.I would definitely recommend these to anyone and certainly I will buy again in the future.

No fear of burning out my tips and rendering the station useless, especially as I bought the station from Maplins dying days sale. I thought that once the (ONE!!) tip they supply with the station had burnt out, then that was it!. So glad I found that not only were the tips available online, but so was the station (should have realized that "exclusive to Maplins" on this and ANY product they sold as "exclusive"was actually freely availble from scores of other suppliers), as they are all made in China .....as is most of the world it seems.5 stars

Here's a Tip, these are great tips!
These little guys are great, i mostly use the wider wedge type now for most soldering projects but i like that i now have a decent range of tips for most situations. Given i'm not on a production line i can't speak to the longevity of the tips but for the price over a few months of use if one failed tomorrow i'd still buy this whole set again to replace just one tip.
