Does this screw onto the original tap or do i have to remove it and replace with this one?

Hi there, This item does screw onto the shut off tap or feed under your sink etc. and the other 2 washing machine size ends allow you to screw a pipe on to each of them. Regards Andrew @ Cool Products

Would this work for dishwasher and plumber in fridgefreezer (instead o washing machine)?

You need to check the type of connection (male/female) and size. It seems similar online You could compare with your washing machine to verify. I don't know how your fridge hose is.

Can you fit both warm and cold hoses to this y connection

My honest opinion is that I would ho somewhere such as Tool Station,Screw fix or B&Q and get one. The one on here is made if cheap plastic & is the incorrect size for uk pipes (out by mm's) Flooded my entire house due to incorrect sizings.

Can I use this for waste water from my dishwasher?

I felt bad so wrote it all out again for you. Hi, well guess U connectors are usually used to split the SUPPLY water between something like a washing machine and a dishwasher say. The waste water from both of these machines would go into bigger piping.e.g.I extended my dishwasher waste with a long hosepipe that goes into the top of an open ended one and a half inch pipe which I swap over with my washing machine whichever I'm using. You can buy dishwasher waste kits that would have a bit that you could slide your waste pipe onto and secure with a jubilee clip. You'd install it probably under your sink but with either of these machines you have to be aware of the height at which you connect it to the waste, as if it's too low it could automatically siphon off the water from your machine in the middle of it's cycle causing the machine's sensor to turn it off due to lack of water etc. As an aside the Y featured that I bought via Amazon was totally unusable due to its threads being faulty. I tried every trick I had after a lifetime of being a Marine Engineer and nothing worked so it's just sitting on top of my dishwasher as a reminder that even if you know what to do product quality can kill the project, I found a workaround for my situation but I'm pretty eccentric. Split connection after 2.5 years

Was perfect fit but suddenly it split and started leaking. I use regularly the cupboard where it is so caught it in time and there was no major damage. Perhaps due to very cold water due to the freezing weather. It’s in a utility room without any heating. I’ll buy same again to replace it as a metal one I tried at the time leaked from day one.

Wish I had read the reviews. This is worse than useless. The threading is off, took ages to actually get the hoses to attach, turned the water on and it sprayed out of all 3 ends. Turned the water back off thinking I could tighten it more, the hoses are now so tight I cannot get them off nor can the 3 other people I’ve asked to try but the splitter is still leaking at every join. Now, not only is the splitter going in the bin but I also need a new hose to replace the one I cannot remove. Really not happy. What should have been a simple 2 min job has turned into a nightmare.
