Brilliant series in excellent condition
I've read the entire series before several times and really enjoy these books. After watching the new series on Disney+ I was impressed how closely they mirrored the books and wanted to read them again, but this time in paper format. The set arrived wrapped in clear plastic and packaged in an appropriately sized boxed, so the books are all in perfect condition. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Some bages stuck together with blue ink.
Great books so far, but pages of the first book are stuck together with blue ink. Looks like an issue at printing stage.

The greek gods are alive
I just finished reading this series, I first got the first book in a charty shop, partly on a wim after seeing the movie and found it to be enjoyable tale of a boy named Percy who finds his life changed when he discovers he the son of one of the top three Greek gods. The top three gods, supposedly made a vow not to have any more demi-god children aka half human/half god but they aren't exactly good at keeping promises. Sure in some ways its a little like Harry Potter with the hero discoving his heirtage, where's Harry Potter books tend to get dark and moody as the series goes on, the Percy Jackson books thou getting dark, have plenty of humour to break the suspence of the story and make you laugh out loud. The books themselves have very nice covers and come packed in a neat box, which saved me some trouble in looking at the various versions of the books, and deciding what state to buy them in (AKA pre-owned, bah, bah, bah)! If you liked the Harry Potter books then I can't recommend this series more, because it's fun to read and takes a lot of the old Greek myths and gives them a modern make over as a lot of the old monsters and stuff can't truly die, they just reform, evenly. The bulk of the books story isn't happening in Grease but the US, mostly around the big famous cities like New York or LA! So what you waiting for, get a set of these books they are hard to put down and fully engrossing stories of young teenage Demi-gods and their adventures/quests!

My son has been reading!
to be fair he reads but is often distracted by Youtube, PS5 and Fortnight, we saw the show on Disney plus and he was enthusiastic to try the books so we got them and now have to stop him spoiling the show as he has got far in advance of the storyline there....he's on book 4 already and answered a couple of Greek Mythology questions on Jeopardy, loving these books but need to find out what he can get after book 5!

The series has my son captivated
My 11 year old mentioned that they were reading the first book in guided reading at school, and was pretty interested in the storyline. Having read a very well-known series about a wizard 4 times over, I was keen to find something else he could get his teeth into.I ordered the set of 5 books, and he's nearly read 4 of them in a week, it's incredible! He wants to read more at every possible opportunity which is amazing. I ordered 2 other Percy Jackson books today so he doesn't run out of reading material. I'm sure it won't be the last purchase of Rick RIordan's books.
