Very easy to put together and can easily pull apart for transporting. Extremely comfortable. Can sit for 8hrs+ in this chair coding and gaming everyday no problem. The base is metal and very stable. I really like the recline ability to get the perfect angle for your back while sitting long hours. It feels like an electric seat you would have on the driver's side of a lexus. It holds whatever angle you set it at for your back firmly, no wobble, but I really really really wish that the footrest and the recliner were controlled separately. Sometimes I would like to put the footrest up while having the recliner in its normal configuration. I run it now at 15% reclined most of the time which gives my calves a little bit of support, which is nice, but I hope they separate these two actions into their own button/mechanism in a future model. The pleather is very comfortable but its not remotely as durable as real leather. Within 1 week I had a couple punctures and small tears in the seat from my cat using it to jump up on my desk. I know you can't blame the manufacturer for damage done by a cat but I have other real leather chairs that are much more durable to pet abuse. I would have gladly paid a premium for real cowhide leather if it was an option.TLDR:I wanted a premium office chair that felt more like a recliner instead of a typical polymer office chair and this hit that mark. Price is subjective. I sit for 60hrs a week so I felt like getting a the most comfortable chair I could find as a worthy investment worth the cost. I would even order a 2nd version of this chair and pay a premium if they made one with real leather and separated the recline and foot rest mechanisms.

At first the chair was easy to assemble and fairly comfortable, although the fabric was a little too gripping. It seemed as advertised, although overpriced for what I received. I bought a large glass chair mat so the chair could easily slide around. The chair was delivered in October, the free return date passed 30 days later before I had even assembled it as I was on vacation. In January, one of the legs broke while I was sitting in it. I considered inserting the pictures of my bruised and bloody hand and wrenched knee when I toppled over against my desk. I weigh 235 lbs, and the chair lasted less than three months after I assembled it. The "metal" chair leg is wrapped around cheap plastic, which is what actually broke. I used mostly Amazon rewards to pay for the chair, but I'm still very upset over the pain it caused. It was used in a about a 4' x 4' area on a glass mat, and I used it very carefully. I see other reviews of people who have had the same issue. I would recommend NOT buying this chair.

Captains log: Stardate 2022It has been 9 business days since I have been floating on this chair. Symptoms include: smiling for no reason. Reduced back pain. Increased level of patience. Seeing things from other people’s points of view. The ability to work longer hours. Egomania – I mean Confidence – Yes…This chair instantly promoted me to head of the company. I know I said it’s a Boss Chair but it’s axtually 10 times better than my boss’s chair. Maybe it’s a senior level Chairman’s chair-- Chairperson’s chair. If you see this chair, you don’t ask whose chair it is. Once you sit in it, you will never touch your own doorknobs again and you will have a chauffeur.It was SUPER easy to put together. Just like the video. FOR ONCE!Cons – It’s not perfect. I mean I still have to do all this f* work on my desk. 2. Since my firm doesn’t know about my new promotion, they still want me to come to the office a few days a week and sit on those crippling peasant chairs. Another problem is once people see this chair, they instantly start asking for a loan, you know, because I made it guys. I succeeded in life. Also, I have not sat on my couch or at the dining table since this chair arrived. I don’t see a problem.There is some material on the arms, like the metal is aluminum and the hole covers could be chrome. I’m nitpicking. It was very well packaged with easy-to-follow instructions. Took 11 minutes to put it together, that included taking off the plastic. You will need someone to help you lower it onto the base so I suggest if you are not yet a boss and don’t have any minions around, don’t put the back onto the seat part until after you put the seat onto the base / wheels section. I love it. I do need a chair mat on the floor for smoother rolling. Wish the footrest would come up without the chair also reclining. I mean unfortunately, like I said, I still do have to work.

Overall, I am very pleased with this chair.First, let me start with a couple of things to consider. The chair does take up a good amount of of space, so pay close attention to the dimensions prior to purchase. Also, it does require being plugged in in order to recline. Neither of these are negatives, just things to consider.Personally, I find myself wishing I had the option for the legs to kick out without HAVING to also recline the chair. Again, not a complaint, just found myself wishing it did this.My husband put the chair together and said it was very easy. There was one task that required two people and it was simple.The chair is incredibly comfortable, very professional looking, well built and sturdy and just overall and great buy. I spend a lot of time in my office between work and school and this has really helped with some neck issues I was having.I searched around prior to purchasing this chair and it was half the cost of anything else I could find. I would purchase this chair again.
