I love how easy it is to use. It covers gray hair perfectly and keeps a deep, shiny black color for several weeks, even after multiple washes. What really surprised me is that it does not stain the skin, so I no longer have to scrub to remove dye residue. Since I found it, I said goodbye to boxed drugstore dyes. The bottle is quite large, so it lasts a long time and you don’t have to keep buying a new one, which makes it very cost-effective. I feel like my hair has improved 1000/100. I highly recommend it. I hadn’t found such an effective product in a long time. I loved it!

I read through all the reviews and was skeptical it would work but bought it anyway. It delivered yesterday. Immediately put it in. Back story: I've been coloring my hair the darkest brown (basically black without the blue hue) for the last 20 years. At this stage of life, the grays are starting to show in 3 days. By two weeks, have a straight line almost 1/4 inch thick of solid gray line of root growth throughout most of my head (at least what I can see). Yesterday, I was at the two week mark. I applied a generous amount onto dry hair. Massaged it into my roots for 3 to 4 minutes (could of been 5). Let it sit for 25 mins. Took a shower. In the shower, lathered and scrubbed for a few minutes. Washed out. Conditioned as usual. Results: Whoa, it completely covered my roots. Things I noticed that you should know. 1) The smell was really not bad especially not as bad as many reviewers have stated. This smells like fresh flowers compared to actual hair dye. Seriously, I think it actually smells pretty good. 2) A drop managed to fall on my white sink. Noticed it 25 minutes later when I came back to shower. Washed right off without leaving a stain. 3) White tile shower is not stained with black dye (not even a little) 4) I DO NOT HAVE A STAINED FOREHEAD EDGE from hair dye (this is huge for me) I don't know what it will look like in a few days. If the color will wash off or lighten. But, honestly, I don't care if it does. This was so easy to do with no mess. I would do it every 3 days if need be and wouldn't feel like a chore as coloring with hair dye does. 10 10 recommended this to anyone with black hair. Total game changer! Update as of September 2024: Still love it! I’m on my 2nd bottle. Use it every 1.5 to 2.5 weeks. Covers all my grays and doesn’t fade. I even got a compliment on my color the other day from a hair stylist. She said my color is gorgeous and she was so surprised that the ends of my hair weren’t faded. She even asked if I went outside at all during the summer because she couldn’t believe it lol. I only color my roots but guess when rinsing out it gives a little extra love to the ends. The only change I made is that I don’t message it in as much. Just apply and rub it in at that moment. Move to the next section. Repeat. Do my hairline again. Wait 25 to 30 mins. Shower. It does dry my hair a bit which also happened when I used regular dye so it’s no biggie. Just skip washing my hair an extra day.

So the first time I bought and used this, mixing the two parts (as you should) would create a sulfur-y smell that stunk pretty bad, but did go away. The second bottle I bought, when I mix the parts now gives off a strong nice herbal smell. Not sure what changed but definitely a win! I think this is mainly meant to cover grey hairs for people who already have black hair. But I use it to dye my dirty blonde hair black. I go an extra mile, and mix the shampoo dye in a dish and brush apply the dye directly to my roots, rather than rubbing it in my hair exactly like a shampoo (I have VERY long hair). It works FANTASTICALLY. Leave it on for about 20+ minutes and my roots are all perfect black. I never have to redye the ends of my hair, the black color STAYS, no fading. The dye WILL stain if you get it on things like old laminate, porcelain... I obviously did not test every surface in my house for what would or wouldn't. So ere on the side of caution. (I did find that the brand of contact paper I put over the counter COULDN'T be stained, which was great) My hair has stayed soft and silky. I apply after a few days of unwashed hair so the natural oils help protect, and lightly condition right after washing out the dye (dye rinsed off in water does not stain unless left standing) I full dye my roots about every 2-3 weeks, using several pumps of the bottle, and it lasts me 5+ months. Which sure as heck beats spending $200 at the hair salon. 10/10 fantastic product!

it stained my shower curtain and my hands a little, but it came out of the shower curtain and it's my fault for not wearing gloves🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ but this works really good!! i dyed my dark brown hair to black with it and it was very quick. i had to do it about 2 times but i was expecting that. it was very easy to use also and didn't stain any counters or my skin, other than my hand. it was very good value for how cheap it was. my hair feels very soft now and feels healthier, my split ends are showing a little more but that's okay. as i said it feels healthy. the color of hair is more of a darker brown now rather than a black but i'm gonna redo this dying process about one more time on wash day.

Excellent product especially for guys who are looking for a color that gives 100 percent grey coverage who have a long beard. This big bottle lasts a long time because the product ingredient's are pumped out the bottle together but separately. So you are mixing whatever you pump from the bottle in your hands as it is dispensed from the bottle. The product in the bottle stays fresh till you are ready to use it again and again. I've already gotten 4 uses out of it already and I will say I'll get one more. This is from retouching the roots once a month. The product does not burn my face off like other store bought color does! It doesn't even stain your skin bad either. No more trying to scrub the stained skin off your face afterwards. (Do wear the gloves though when applying because it does stain hands.) It's also not as harsh on the hair as others I've used. It rinses out easily since it is mixed with shampoo. All you have to do is condition afterwards. The color lasts with very minimal fading. I absolutely love this product. This review is from using Dark Brown once a month. It's so easy to use and you get a lot of uses out of one bottle for the cost.
