Silverline Monobloc Back Nut Tap Spanner 5pce 8/9, 9/11, 10/11 & 12/13mm (395020) Multi

Good piece of kit at a reasonable price. Unlike some reviews might suggest, I found the box spanner set to be well made, free from defects, burrs or loose swarf and didn’t distort in use. the Tommy bar is a snug fit (which is a distinct bonus if you are working in confined spaces and have little tolerance for movement before actually turning the monoblock nut (like behind a pedestal)). The drive faces are snug to the nut and the socket is long enough to incorporate the threaded bar of a monoblock. All in all a very useful addition to the toolbox and fit for purpose!

I had to stop a Franke Athena kitchen sink mixer tap from dripping from the spout. I took out the cartridges from the hot and cold taps. They were stuck hard due to invisible limescale so I used some viakal and WD 40 to loosen them and I cleaned them and put them back in. That worked and the tap stopped dripping but I’d loosened the bolt holding the tap onto the sink with all the movement getting the cartridges out. I couldn’t get a spanner around the nut as there wasn’t enough space to turn the spanner. This tool arrived within 24 hours and the nut tightened in a minute. It saved a lot of bad words and fiddling. Good value. Worth it.

Needed a tube spanner to fit a tap to kitchen sink. These were perfect for the job.

(based on my 4 year member experiences) There is no reference as to the potential additional postage cost in regard to non amazon prime members.2 / The spanners were delivered in four days.3 / There are four (4) spanners in the set, sizes 8/9, 9/11, 10/11, 12/13 mm. There is also a bar for use with the spanners.4 / The spanners are crudely made with quite rough finishing. The print for the sizes are not well marked but are visible with close examination.5 / The holes drilled through the bars are just as crudely done in that 3 of the 8 are off centre. two are over sized.6 / The actual nut sizes are not as accurate as they could be as there is movement on both the 11mm and 13 mm sizes.I cannot comment on the remainder as I have not used them7 / The bars are capable of doing what has to be done. I bought these for a one off job and that is what they have been used for. The set will now, in all probably lay in a tool box with sockets that go back to a time when everyone could strip and build cars for themselves.8 / Overall, these are crude and cheap. They will do what has to be done in a short term use environment. If you plan to use them on good quality nuts / assemblies, or any thing approaching anything other than short term use, spend extra and buy better quality equipment. good quality and easy to use tool, I needed to tighten a basin tap in the bathroom but the tightening nut was high up within the back of the basin but this tool worked perfectly

Necesitaba una llave de tubo para sustituir un grifo del baño, en especial para desenroscar el esparrago del grifo, que tenía un acceso complicado y además estaba un poco ya corroido por la cal ... y este juego de llaves me ha venido perfectamente bien.Son de un material resistente, por lo que se ven duraderas.

Also ich habe das Produkt am Samstag bestellt und am Donnerstag den 12.4.2012 habe ich es zugestellt bekommen, ist aber denk ich mal normal den ich wohne in Wien/österreich.Das Produkt ansicht ist für meinen Beruf als Installateur/Klempner wichtig. Es gitb viele Armaturen mit einer 13mm Mutter die natürlich locker zum rausdrehen gehen und wo man sehr viel Platz hat für anderes Werkzzeug. Als der Steckschlüssel ansich ist nicht sehr lang es hat eine länge von 19cm natürlich alle 4 Teile, macht einen sehr stabilen eindruck und der herstellt gibt eine lebenslange Garantie auf sein Produkt muss man aber vorher auf der Hersteller Seite registrieren um die Garantie zu bekommen.Fazit: Sehr gutes Produkt für geringes Geld, hat sicher meiner Meinung nach ausgezahlt ich empfehle es jedem weiterHier noch ein Link zu einem Video vom Produkt[...]
