Used this product to cover leaking nail heads and holes in my metal roof. I had to use 100mm x 100mm pieces as the smaller pieces I thought would be sufficient lifted up. Other than this minor irritation, I am pleased with this product.

I found holes in a steel roof. This tape has patched them over easily. Was easy to cut and stick on and adhesive felt very strong quality. Holes covered and not leaking so it's working. Good for what I used it for. Will have to wait for spring to see how it paints over but happy with purchase and product.

It worked as it should, great product

This product is the worst I've ever encountered. It lacks both stickiness and sealability. I applied it to a dry surface outdoors and used a hairdryer both before and after application, but it still failed to prevent rainwater leakage from the roof. This has been a very disappointing experience.

The adhesive was not as strong as I was led to believe, in fact it peeled off fairly easily. I had used it to seal a small leak on upend of toilet, so no pressure, but it still leaked.

This Butyl Tape finally solved a long(ish) standing leak in the conservatory, I tried other tape, but this was the only one that stopped the issue. The issue was the joint between the aluminium gulley and where it joins the existing UPVc guttering. The seal had broken down and water began to find it's way into the conservatory.This tape felt incredibly adhesive, felt good quality and malleable to make it perfect for forming around non-linear shapes. It has been in place 3 months now, through some very wet weather and has shown no sign of letting water seep through, highly recommended.
