Fresh herbs perfect for kitchen windowsill
Fresh herbs perfect for kitchen windowsill - easy to use when cooking, just pinch off leaves, keep watered daily and will continue to grow, lasts for ages - do not let dry out, basil likes plenty of water so keep soil moist.

Nice basil but
You really need to immediately take the basil out of the pot and divide the plants. The pots are too crammed so if you don't divide the whole lot will dye pretty quickly. The great thing is that when you do divide there is loads of individual plants. They could just do with pointing out on the pot that you should remove and divide.

Terrible!!
Most of it was dead brown & shrivelled when I recieved it, the photo is what I was left with after getting rid of all the shrivelled dead leaves and after 2 days the little that was left is pretty much dead too. Very disappointing as I have got one before which was lovely & healthy & lasted for ages.

Still going strong several weeks later, astonishingly!
With direct sunlight and plenty of water, this has survived several weeks on my windowsill! I did leave it in the plastic packaging though which I think really helped. Created kind of an insulation for it.

Great insect deterrent
I bought a pot because I’d read that basil placed by aa open window is a great fly deterrent. Some weeks later the basil (which needs frequent watering) is still going strong and insect intruders are less.
