I've been using a cheaper tens machine I've borrowed for a recurring shoulder problem and decided to bite the bullet and buy my own.After reading many reviews and wanting to stay clear of what clearly are cheaply made I plumped for this unit.Well what can I say, the borrowed unit helped but this is an absolute marvel with tailored programmes, 2 channels and being of quality build and ease of use.After 1 session yesterday evening the results are night and day, a thorough recommendation, if you're after a quality tens machine don't hesitate with this.Not to mention the free upgrade when the parcel arrived to the next model up with a letter from the actual company which was totally unexpected.

What a godsend!! I have been on painkillers all week with no relief. One hour on the tens relieved my pain and I was able to walk so much better. I really don’t like taking tablets and this feels a far more natural way to support pain relief. The only thing I would change is that I it would be good to have a setting that just stays on at a consistent flow, without alternating pulses. When I used tens in pregnancy I just needed the stimulus to be constant and this one doesn’t seem to have that setting. Otherwise it’s marvellous and so easy to use.

Daughter uses for knee pain mostly, and sometimes for backache. She says it feels good on her skin however, you need to be cautious with the intensity as during the programme the intensity increases then decreases and when I used it on my back it made me jump a bit on the increase cycle. Just play with the settings until you find what is right for you. Overall, it seems a useful device.

I was sceptical that this would work...i have 3 crushed discs in my spine and 1 in my neck plus fibromyalgia and arthritis/carpal tunnel. and have tried lots of remedies in the past. I put the machine on and left it on for 5 hours in the evening..the sensation is odd but not unpleasant and at bedtime i had little or no pain in my back and neck and for the first time in years slept really well..the same again the next night. I use it everyday now and find it works really well. I use the mains plug so do not know how long the battery lasts... i only use battery mode when i get up to make a drink etc....I know the machines have got better since they first came onto the market and if you are buying one look at the different ones as they are made for differing conditions.

On the + side, this did give pain relief, most noticeable the day after. Negatively, I found the wires too fiddly and the controller unit very bulky. I found it hard to put in a pocket and if I did, I couldn't sit down comfortably. Ladies, be careful going to the loo! When I was putting it away for the day, I could only find 3 of the 4 patches. After a long time of searching, the missing one had stuck to the back of the toilet seat! A laugh at the end of it all but what a carry-on!!I wish local NHS were still offering Tens for patients to try before buying as I would have not bought this after a trial. Main thing against this one - too bulky for the price, try a cheaper one before settling on what you really, really want.

Delighted with this product. Really helped me cope with a long 12 hour flight to Cape Town. I suffer with Fibromyalgia and neuropathy, sitting in the same position for a long time really makes me hurt. However I got of the plane and was not stiff at all. It's great to have various settings and easy to use when mobile. The battery supplied lasted me the flight time, I guess it depends on which strength pulse setting you use, however I was not disappointed. Just be sure to take spare batteries if you are using it for long periods of time. Being able to plug into the mains is brilliant. I now use it at night, set on a low pulse and find I am not so stiff in the mornings. I would like to see the gel pads a little more sticky, so they lasted a bit longer, however I do move them to many different areas when using the TENS. They can be re-applied several times. Again worth investing in some spares. Wouldn't be without my TENS now.

Bought this for my mum who suffers with pain the machine broke with a month so it was replaced no problem. Now 4 months later the replacement machine has broken. I’m out of the returns time and my poor mum is in pain

I have two herniated discs in my back tries to chiropractor ate great but at £35 a visit it soon adds up.This little machine is a God send. After 30 minutes wearing it the pain relief was instant. You have to place the pads where you pain is. Can be a touch tricky at first but no major problem.for the price build quality and clear concise instruxtuins I would highly recommend it for anyone with back pain.
