I'm transitioning my tree from traditional incandescent to led (changing out individual bulbs has lost its luster for me :) So, I had a couple strands of original incandescent lights on my artificial tree and added this new 200-bulb LED strand. Close-up photos show original (taller bulbs) vs led. The LEDs seemed really bright but once I spread them on the tree, they are relatively close in brightness to my original lights. I used the lowest dim setting (25%) - my wish is that I could adjust it down to 10-15%.I have a slim 6' tree and the single 200-bulb strand is plenty for my size tree. I was able to wrap it going up and going down, staggering the depth. I have a bit too many lights with my original strands still on there :) Slightly brighter photo is with both sets of lights on. Slightly darker is LED only.The memory function appears to work. When I unplug my lights and plug them back in, the solid light/25% dim setting *is* preserved (without me doing anything special). I've plugged it into a timer and will update if it changes when using that. I haven't tried the built-in timer as I like to schedule my tree lights to go on/off at certain times of day. Remote works fine so far as I can tell.I only briefly played around with the settings on the remote and probably will not utilize any of those things. I bought this set because I could dim the led.My reason for rating at 4-stars is wishing I could dim it a bit more and because the cord is such a dark green that it looks black. I'm hoping that it will feel less noticeable once I add ornaments.Full tree photos show with LED and incandescent and then LED only.Overall, good value for what I paid I think if they last several years.

Las luces funcionaron muy bien en exteriores, el montaje y desmontaje fue adecuado. Su operación es muy fácil, el controlador no me parece que soporte la interperie por eso lo instalé bajo techo y no tuve problema.El control remoto tiene poco alcance y francamente preferí usar el control del controlador/fuente directamente.Soportó muy bien el clima lluvioso y el sol, los cables no tuvieron deterioro por dos meses de uso en exterior.Volverán a su caja hasta las próximas fiestas.Un punto que podría mejorarse: yo las compré con la intención de realizar un control más específico del color de las luces, pero el controlador no es fácil de intervenir o modificar.

Follow up - As noted one set had problems in outdoor weather. The return was painless and quick. The new set arrived in 2 days and these were placed on a small Christmas Tree on our front porch (along with another set purchased earlier). Both sets survived VERY HARSH weather - 0 degree weather, high winds, blowing snow. A month later they are still working perfectly. Nobody wants to have to return product, but it does give perspective on how well the Merchant treats their customers. Based on the return process and the product itself, I have given the product and merchant 5 stars.The lights are great, very well made. The controller box may be the issue here. I put 1 set of lights on each of my decorative porch trees which are under roof, but still exposed to outdoor temp (~30F). Both sets worked wonderfully, but on Day 2 one set began flickering, turning off and on, and not responding to the remote. When I brought these indoors, they worked fine. I requested a return/replace and within 2 days my replacements arrived. GOOD JOB. These are working as expected. I will follow up after giving this new set more time to render another opinion.

These beautiful bright little Christmas lights went around my entire house & just look so pretty, especially with my lighted Christmas tree in the front window. They are a little difficult to unwind to prepare for placement around the house. You have to completely unwind first in order to get to the end because they are rolled up in two sections on the same spool which makes it kind-of confusing. I like the automatic shut-off feature & the many color options. I may buy more next year to line the driveway & front lawn. Very pleased. 🕊⚘️🙋‍♀️jlp

This is the first christmas that ive used tge lights, but the seemed to work well. The only "negative" that I can find is that the lights are BRIGHT! However I have a small living room so...... The lights have several multifunctions. I will admit that I thought the lights had quit working yesterday, but discovered that my cat had chewed through one of the wires. I fixed it and now they work as they should. Great set of lights.

I would like to be able to dim them in the house. They are not really made for outside because the plug has to be inside.

Super bright, long lasting, sturdy lights.Very long; great bang for buck.Can only be connected to same brand of lights but so worth it to not have to deal with crappy strings that fizzle or burn out when you breathe on them.Bunch of different settings and a timer; love them!

I love these lights! They look awesome. Super bright and such a pretty colour. I also ordered the orange as well and wrapped both colours around the front of my house and it looked amazing for Halloween. Definitely recommend!

I was so impressed with the quality of these lights, they work great and are bright and beautiful. They are by far the best set of decorative lights I have ever seen.The string durable and it is also incredibly long - I wrapped only one set of lights all along my back porch. They also withstood the rain, which is essential if using them outdoors. The bulbs themselves are small and made of plastic so they won’t shatter.I ordered them in the colour orange for Halloween, and they gave the perfect ambiance to my home. I love how there are different flashing modes and also a timer function.Excellent value, I would absolutely purchase this set of lights again.

Lights were small and lots of them. There was no twist ties keeping the long strand in order, so when putting them up kept getting tangled. Lot of disaply variations for lighting. Perfect brightness for what I was wanting.
