Kraft Tool BL390 Masonry Barbell Jointers, 2-Pack, Multi, One Size

It’s a little hard to tell, but the brick in the picture is recessed. Just far enough, and small enough, that a regular jointer, or a barrel jointer won’t really fit in there and get the corners especially!!I’ve only done a handful of cut and point jobs, and jointing, but I thought this tool was really helpful for the random off beat brick joints.Of course, this can’t replace a regular jointer as you can’t really scoop your mud with it. Not in any meaningful way anyway!

I've been a bricklayer over 40 years and never heard of them. When I saw it my curiosity made me get one. Very handy for tight spots or when the mortar has kicked off to hard for a conventional jointer. I like it.

I had never seen these on a job, nor did anyone else that I asked. I got them with low expectation but they quickly turned into my main jointers. Takes a bit to get used. A lot better on your body than the regular bullhorn jointers.They can easily reach joints that are a pain with regular jointers.

Handy tool for jointing, however the construction is very basic...it's just mild steel stock with two ball bearings tacked on...but it gets the job done, next time I will make my own.
