4ft Barbell Weight Bar

Living on a little island i was struggling to get a barbell delivered to me, and with my limited space in the car hold i had to get a small barbell.I stumbled across this - it was my 3rd attempt, the other 2 both got cancelled. SUCCESS! it was delivered, like christmas day i eaagerly unwrapped it and put it straight onto my bench. Slapping on a whopping 20kg (dont judge) i started to pump iron... for 8 reps until i almost passed out.oh yeah back to the barbell - excellent value for money, used it for 2 months now and had no problems, it takes the weight i need, it feels solid and fits in my tiny car hold.One very happy mini arnold... maybe one day.

This was ordered during lockdown so I could keep working out. It arrived extremely quickly and well packaged. I really wanted just the bar as I only use it for a light workout but you could attach weights. It comes with two attachments to hold the weights( a screw - on fixture) if you want . Perfect for me .

Having decided to change my career from a Newsagent to a World Champion Body Builder, I bought one of these bars. It’s fantastic and I’m definitely getting bigger. Watch out for me on TV in 10 years time.

Smaller than usual length bar therefore ideal for use at home . Only real issue is that the spinlock "screwing" on the bar extends right to the start of the handle section .This seems to have the effect of preventing the weights from spinning on the bar when carrying out any twisting motion for example in a clean and jerk or a bicep curl and this to my surprise puts a !of of added pressure through your wrists . I would recommend gloves with wrist strapping when using any decent weight ,boxer style punchbag gloves are ideal .Happy enough otherwise at a very decent price .

It’s does the job perfectly. You need to keep tightening the bolts on each end as they start to work lose. It’s great tho and if I had the choice I would buy it again

If you're considering buying a 1" barbell, it's worth paying attention to the max weight it's rated for. This one is rated for 150 kg, which is the highest I've seen so far. It's also a quality bar.

Really good bar for free weights, a good solid feeling and well weighted piece of equipment. I’ve only given 4 stars for ‘value’ as prices have escalated due to lockdown demand and increasing prices. Definitely recommend this item.
