When you buy a pack of 10 notebooks that costs £5 including delivery, you shouldn't be expecting a high end product. What you get, for your 50p a pad price, isn't as cheapo as you might think. Sure, the front cover is paper and the binding is about as thin a piece of wire as you can get. Yep, the paper itself is thin but not too thin. So a rollerball pen ink will bleed to the reverse but not onto the next page. Acceptable quality at this price point I would say. The pages themselves are not perforated, but they do rip from the wire binding in one piece and without leaving 'chads' all over the place. Another bonus point for a clean-freak (at least as far as my desk is concerned) like me. They are on the small size, both in format (A6) and volume (80 sheets). The backboard is pleasantly thick though, and at this price point I'm really not complaining. Equally suitable for list-making or note-taking.

Good paper quality, Spiral bound making it easier to write on paper because of the support behind it, easy to rip off if you just want to write a note, very good price for 10 notebooks, i mean there are many more expensive notebooks out there that are the same quality as this, of course this isn't as good as a moleskin notebook but it has good enough quality, comes in a pack of ten and since I use 5 star office I know that they can be trusted.

Value

I was a bit hesitant to get 10 notebooks in a pack but I have NO REGRETS. It's so hard to find good, reliable, sturdy wire-bound notepads like this in normal shops - everything out there is so fancy and overpriced now. These do the job, are lightweight and slim so they fit into any bag and are great for all kinds of notetaking.

I can't fault this product, it's excellent value for money. An error was made on my part though as I had stumbled across this product from a link on another A4 notepad page on Amazon, and had presumed this was A4 too [daft, I know]. It doesn't strictly say if it's A4 or A5 on the product page, but the product description clearly lists the dimensions which is roughly A5-ish. Still can't complain though, was of my own making. Satisfied with the purchase nonetheless.

usually buy standard A5 notebooks instead of these reporters style, but these work just as well and are extremely good value.

I originally bought a pack of 10 of these spiral notepads code 330038 described as 150 sheets. This time when I ordered what i thought was the same product the ode on the spiral notepads is 297595 and it is described as only 80 sheets. The packs seeps much thinner than the original and there seems much fewer sheets per notepad.. Amazon has not indicated that there has been a reduction in the product contentswhich appears to have dropped by some 50%. I would appreciate an explanation. Regards Richard Borley
