A great addition to my gardening kit
I don't know why it took me so long to order one of these. I first saw one in a garden centre many years ago and always thought that I'd get one. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today so today was the day! I've literally had it for two hours and I already think that that it's an amazing piece of kit. I've been all over my borders and it has broken up the soil with ease leaving it looking lovely and freshly turned. It is SO much more effective than using a hoe and SO much easier than a spade. With regular use my borders are going to look fantastic and it's going to take so little effort. When it arrived I thought that I would be using it like a spade by putting my foot on it so that the prongs went all of the way in and then twisting. This approach would take an awful lot of effort - especially in clay heavy soil. Instead I've found myself pushing the prongs into the soil around three inches deep, twisting and covering a large area in such a short amount of time. It's all very easy and I would highly recommend that you purchase one. This is stating the obvious but the better the soil the easier using this tool will be. There's an area of my border which has clay and the tool is more difficult to use. On my crumbly soil it's amazingly easy.My only small gripe is that the handle grips could benefit from being upgraded as they're not very substantial.

Makes gardening a doddle
Very sturdy manage to turn over all edging in no time. Easy to put together and sturdy not like a cheaper version I've had before. Should last years light and easy to use. Would definitely recommend paying bit extra for the real thing.

Best weed grabber on the market
I had one of these four years but somehow it was left behind when we moved. Just got around to ordering a new one. It makes wedding super easy with very little effort. The handle had to be attached with the bolt provided and I'm a bit dismayed to find it a loose fit. My husband is an engineer and says that no matter how much the bolt is tightened it will still wobble

Quality item
My back garden was compacted clay , like concrete ,and this relatively inexpensive tool went through it like a knife through butter . Not a mark on it , everything still tight and unaffected by 40m squared of rock hard compacted soil . I would genuinely recommend this tool to anyone , Iām 61 and was able to use this tool with minimum stress to back and arms . Love it š

Very Handy
This hand tool is really good, when you're getting down to your beds, to break-up the soil. Really easy to use and the tilling affect is good.

I am not overly impressed.
This is an okay piece of kit, not great. However, my experience is at odds with a lot of the 5 star reviews.I did not find it easy to use.I found it took longer than a conventional hoe.I did not find it an effective weeder. The fixing bolt was loose after about an hours use.I did find it good for aerating the lawn.I have had a very inexpensive version of this tool for about 20 years. I had hoped I was buying an upgrade. I do not believe I have.Edit: I have now used this tool over a few months. The fixing bolt coming loose is a repeating problem. This tool is definitely not an upgrade.

Great tool
This claw works like a dream. Would recommend to anyone to avoid using a fork or spade to break up hard ground.

Not as good as its big brother
I've owned a full sized garden claw for many years now and it's one of the most useful garden tools I have. I therefore decided to buy this mini claw for those more densely packed garden beds where the full size claw is too bulky. However, because it has no shaft, the turning force required to achieve the same result is much greater. Added to that, the full size claw is a 2-handed operation whereas the mini only has one hand grip.In short, with this mini claw you need to have a very strong wrist action in all but the very lightest of soils - in which case you don't need a cultivator, a normal hand fork will do.
