Vitax Ltd Nippon Ant Bait Station Twin Pack - Ant Killer Station

Had some ants appear in our kitchen that seemed to be coming from a hole under the doorframe. At their peak, there were around 30 of them hanging out in a corner of our kitchen. I tried using vinegar and peppermint oil but nether stopped the ants. So I bought this and set it up by the door. At first the ants ignored it but after a while they were starting to take the bait. Amazingly, within 24 hours the ants had gone! I left the bait there for a couple more days and then removed it completely. It’s now over a week later and there are still no ants. This worked perfectly and am very pleased with the outcome. Update (a year later) - Got another infestation in our lounge. Had around 50 ants wandering over the carpet, which was a bit grim. Opened another bait station and left it near the point of the ants entering the house and, as before, they ignored it to start with but interest grew over a few hours. The next day, they’d all gone and haven’t come back. This bait is brilliant!

Ants are an impure, unrefined race - Unfit to share a world with ourselves, the superior and perfect humans. It was my duty to rid the world of this filth and it was not a pleasant time. The ants were rampant, emigrating through my land and my house as if they had free reign over what we own, infesting and stealing what is ours. Little did they know that one day I made their easiest source of food their worst enemy. This bait station attracts many of the ant race filth, their unrefined and unintelligent minds falling so easily prey to the simple sweet taste that it provides. Little did they know that this food was coated with a deliberately slow-acting poison, designed to rid this world of the repugnant stain of a mark they've left on the world. "Day 1. The ants crowd around the bait station like moths to light, or like ants to sweet food. Their usual line from the front door to the kitchen has been heavily weighed towards this bait station near the door now. I count at least 50 at a time in the open between the bait station, the kitchen and the downstairs room. I can only imagine the ecstasy running through their minds as they relish in this easily available source of sweetness that they will spread with their kind, dooming them all. I am the dark reaper that shall bring salvation to this world. Day 2. Death, panic, desperation. Corpses litter the area around the bait station. The living drag their dead back to the nest to feed the others, inadvertently dooming the only survivors. The poison riddled cadavers of the ant race are their own downfall as their instincts tell them to lead my biggest trump card back to their queen. Lines of ants stagger on, obviously affected by the slow-acting poison. Those that indulged in the sweet nectar of death later than the others experience the desolation and destruction of their race. I can only imagine the nightmare that rages on inside their nest. Over the course of the day their numbers dwindle from many to few - My sweetness that I taste is undiluted with the deadly poison that ends their short, pitiful lives and it is one of near victory. Day 3. The halls are silent and empty. I woke to find the last vestiges of the ant race wiped from this earth. Even the corpses are gone, the last survivors likely dragging their dead to the nest before collapsing themselves. With any luck their entire colony has been wiped out, removing the disgusting mark of the ant race from this world. Death is a purifying fire and it will judge accordingly. The ant race has been measured, and it has been found wanting.

Bought after reading other reviews here and having a small dog we didn't want any powder or dust type stuff, for obvious reasons. Now we live in a barn conversion out in the remote East Yorkshire coastal region near Spurn Point so nature's little workers are to be expected inside and outside the home, no matter how clean you try to keep things. Therefore after seeing that tell tale trail across our downstairs bathroom floor I knew we had a problem. We bought a two pack of these beauties and followed the very simple instructions. After no more than 36 hours, seeing the ants going into the bait station is a very good sign, we were totally clear. No further visits so far this year, yet our neighbours across the way have now been visited yet they continue to use the old powder stuff. I've told them about this product but you know how stuck some folks are, well their loss I guess. So, easy to use, no issue of accidentally poisoning our little Mexican friend( our Chihuahua I mean !?!?!) and it really does work. Would I buy again, yes without a moment's hesitation.

Doesn't seem to work that effectively. Compared to other brands product, this product seems to be slightly hit and miss.

Lived in my home for 5yrs with no issue with ants, but recently have experienced lots of ants inside getting onto worktops etc. I placed two of these Nippon Baits on the worktops and by late evening 25 to 30 ants were observed in the vicinity of the Nippon Baits. I managed to resist the temptation to kill them, which I had been doing when spotting the odd one or two on the worktops as the ants need to take the fluid back to their nest. Next morning there was no sign of any ants at all, I decided to leave the baits where they were for a couple more days in case there was still a few remaining. 3rd day now, I've not seen a single ant since, so I'm pleased to say this Nippon Ant Bait really works 100%, they just disapeared overnight and thankfully no sign of them since. I'VE NO HESITATION RECOMMENDING THIS NIPPON ANT BAIT. IT WORKS BRILLIANTLY.

best ant bait traps you can buy and great value to. these dont just kill the ants the ants take the bait to the nest and it wipes em all out. no more mini crawling pests crawling all over you. or your pets. just place them down in known areas where ants are seen and leave for a year then replace them every year i do.
