Although I can't speak for everyone, personally I feel that in both cases where mice did get into my house, they have been through the pipwork (gas) holes that have not been closed once the pipes were built post construction of the house. Never really had a problem until 10 years after, maybe there are more rodents in the world.I had two types of traps and can say they the effectiveness varies, some mice are actually quite smart and avoid the contraptions altogether which means you have to look for new novel ways to deal with them. This could be another type of trap, the slightly more expensive electronic types, sticky mats, etc.This deals with the source of the problem. A bit difficult to cut but invest in a good cutting tool which you should have anyway and fill the gaps with this thing and secure your house. Just got 5 more of these things for the rest of the house.

This is the best one to use. Don't be tempted to try cheaper ones, like I did. They don't work. Stick with this - it works.

The steel wool seems sturdy enough and is easy to put in however it is difficult to cut to size as it leaves fallout everywhere and definitely wears down your scissors. I also wasnt aware until after i bought it that you need gloves would have been better if these were included.

What can I say, it's horrible stuff (DO wear gooves) but it does the job.

I have just received the device, excellent service by the courier, BUT:-1. The device has a two pin European plug so an adapter is needed to operate it! I've previously bought from Europe and products destined for the U.K. have had an adapter supplied.2. The device creates serious noise in my hearing aids, no way I could be in the same room as the device.I wait to see if I get any benefit from the device.

Easy to use, can be a bit tougher to cut because of the wires, but does the job.

I have given this product 5 stars because since using them we haven’t had even the tiniest sign of a mouse! It could just be coincidence but I am one very happy customer. Great value for money.
