Fabulous, purchased specifically for grating garlic cloves. Works a treat. Great for nutmeg too, or even cheese.

Don’t think mine came with the brush thing but the product itself is sturdy with good grip. It’s very sharp so it’s very good at its job and that makes the cover even more important.

I've been wanting one of these for ages for fine grating. Used it this week for the first time to grate parmesan into a risotto. The cheese was a little bit dried out so quite hard but the grater tore through it with ease. Gives a really fine grate. Exactly what I hoped for. It also comes with a well fitting plastic cover so you can chuck it in a drawer with out worrying about blunting it. Also supplied is a little cleaning brush - I don't see the need as you can just wipe clean with a sponge as long as you don't go against the little raised teeth. Great product at a great price.

Good quality grater for parmesan. Easy to use and nice and sharp. comes complete with a guard to protect the blades and also came with a convenient brush to clear the blades

Worked very well. Can confirm blades are sharp, as managed to slip and grate my finger! Glad plastic case is provided as it’s needed.
