Works well
Means I can make little glass fused squares for art work at home! Hit and miss with fusing but think I have my technique optimised now and results seem more consistent. Persevere with the initial trial and error, its worth it.

Fun to use but watch out for burns.
Used the kiln to make clay pendants. After adapting timings to suit my microwave and medium it works well. Only problem is that the insulating shell has developed a crack & I will need to get a new one soon.

Just as expected
Trying it out with mini pots

Didn’t work for me.
Review is just based on the item I had. I cannot comment on all the others made. Used just once in a 1000w microwave for 10 minutes. Kiln fused together and could only be separated once cooler when parts tore away.

Interesting craft
The small microwave kiln is good for small items and quite absorbing. I had a larger one which was a disaster and just didn't melt the glass and burnt the inside material - that one was returned.

Quality varies
These are great when they work. I have now had two of them fail during the first firing (developed large cracks). If you push them to stoneware temperatures they are not going to last awfully long. But in absence of a proper kiln, they're the best thing out there. Having to replace them regularly, they do become quite expensive.

Amazing piece of kit
I've no idea how this little device can raise the temperature to around 800 degrees celsius using microwaves, but it does the job. Most firings have to be by trial and error as obviously there is no control other than the main microwave timings.

Small
Bought this for my sister. She hasn't used it yet. But didn't realise how small the inside is. Best for small trinket pinch bowls.
