Since going into perimenopause some years ago, I've suffered with Polymorphic Light Eruption, particularly abroad and in high summer in the UK. I've tried everything, antihistamines, steroid creams, mineral sunblock, and still had varying degrees of reaction and had to stay out of the sun - boooo! I stumbled across these at 3am, laid awake itching from yet another PMLE flare up. They arrived 4 days ago, and the difference is nothing short of incredible! The rash I already had has almost disappeared, and I've been out in the sun each day. No rash, no itching,no blisters, and no thickened skin! I haven't changed anything else, so I know it's this that has made the difference. Fingers crossed it continues, and I hope they work for you too 🙂

I'm so impressed with this product. I've suffered with polymorphic light eruption for the past 10 years. As spring hit I was covered in bumps and rashes and the itching started. I done a thorough research on how I could possibly improve this as I really didn't want to suffer another summer and I have 2 holidays abroad booked. This product came up again and again so i purchased it and I have left it 4 weeks before I wrote this review. I have taken this along side benadryl antihistamines and suncream and I can honestly say I am sitting in the sun without a rash, no itching and enjoying the sunshine. I even have a little colour on my pale skin. Highly recommended. Buy it and give it a go!!!!

As a PLE sufferer I've not had a holiday in 12 years where my upper chest didn't break out in a itchy painful red rash. having read reviews here and on a few sites - I thought I would give these a go. I wore a vest top in the sun for 4 hours... and while I felt some symptoms, a little itch, no rash appeared. I chickened out to fully expose on day 2, wearing a rash vest in the pool - BUT it's infinitely more than I have ever bared before (still wearing factor 50) and I noticed a big difference. I did have a small red patch in the usual place but NOWHERE near as bad, in fact only I noticed it because I was keeping a photo diary! But it's not itchy or painful, and a far cry from the awful experience I've had before. I'm due to go on holiday again later this year and will make sure I'm stocked up - and on any sunny days will definitely be turning to the pills. I may even try doubling up with a heliocare cream rather than standard 50+ Nivea kids. Pic contrast is from day 3 of my last holiday (after only 30 min exposure on day 1) and pic 2 is as above. In short - I wouldn't skip about in a bikini all day! But it gave me confidence and importantly helped me avoid much of the discomfort and embarrassment of my PLE rash, I'd usually pay anything to get rid of it once it's here - glad I made the investment up front!

I've suffered with skin rash for the past 15 years to a point were don't want to be in the sun anymore. Tried all the expensive sunscreens but nothing had worked, after being away earlier this year got the rash and did some research and came across helliocare capsules. Since taking them I've had no rash and combined with piz buin sun allergy lotion it's been a miracle, I can now enjoy the sun again

I suffer from bad polymoric light eruption, I take these tablets in conjunction with 1 anti allergy and I'm pretty much immune to the sun now. I will say I did hardern my skin on the sun beds before which did result in some itchiness. I recently went on holiday to Greece in 30 degree heat with factor 15 sun screen and my skin was perfectly happy. Amazing tablets I did double up, if I thought I would be exposed for a long period, unsure if thats recommended though

After 13 years of being blighted by PMLE and not thinking I would ever be able to enjoy the sun again I found Heliocare. Some people call it 'prickly heat' but PMLE (Poly Morphic Light Eruption) is different as I never really itched but just came out in horrible red blotches that would sometimes turn to blisters the longer I was exposed to the sun. I was sceptical at first and these capsules are quite expensive but after taking just one I noticed my unsightly rash start to fade. After a couple of days it had gone completely. For years I have been trying to find a cure using various prescription tablets and anti-allergy sun creams, none of which made a difference. I only take Heliocare on hot sunny days first thing before any exposure to sun and one capsule is enough to last all day. Used with a good factor sun cream I no longer dread summer.

I can't comment on how the product works but the bottle had no label and the instructions on how many tablets to take daily are different on the box and the seller's product info section...

Great product for natural sunscreen

Lo compré para ir a la playa, porque aunque uso un buen protector solar (Avene Intense) y lo reaplico, en muchas ocasiones eso no me salva del ardor en la piel y para el tercer día de playa sufro. Estas cápsulas cambiaron el juego totalmente, las empecé a tomar 1 semana antes y durante los 7 días de viaje. Logré un bronceado divino y mucho menos daño solar, no me ardió la piel y al volver no se descamó ni deshidrató como otras veces.

I use these capsules to prepare my skin before prolonged sun exposure (holidays). The capsules are easy to swallow and tasteless. They give me a nice glow and my skin perfectly hydrated. I will buy again for sure. Five stars
