Ordered this for a friend. Unfortunately, it had to go straight back as, although the bar code on the back said Diana, the film was a war time action movie. Have ordered replacement from a different supplier.

I didn't like. Quite a lot of padding in it to ...
Something about it, I didn't like. Quite a lot of padding in it to pad it out a bit. Only got it out of curiosity as it had been panned so much, and now I know why it was panned. It was not a true representation of her, and it was the sort of film where I just got up and made a cup of tea in the middle of, without pausing it, I just was not impressed. Mediocre film playing on the fact that Diana was such an Icon, people would want to watch it, but on its own, it just doesn't stand up.

Watts is wasted on a poor script
A bit of a missed opportunity, Watts is good (not great but certainly not awful) as Diana and there are some nice looks into Diana's private life from the quirky to the heart warming but as a whole the film feels about too by the numbers little mention of the other royals or Diana's own family and the love story although there is truth behind it feels forced mostly down to the poor acting of the male lead....

Still the people’s princess as rembered by us all
I give this dvd 5 stars the story lines were true and I remember it all happeningBut I did not really like the actress who played Diana I felt she was not really true to her caracter

One for the enthusiasts
Naomi Watts does an average job of pertraying Lady Di, some times from a distant she looks the same, but the look isn't right somehow. Tells of the affair she had with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan. Naveen Andrews, who plays him, is a bit darker than he is in real life, so that was a bit of bad casting I think.
