Verve Ultra SLS-Free Toothpaste with Fluoride, 4.5 oz. (Pack of 4)

Verve Ultra SLS Free toothpaste is a life saver.I hope this review helps other people with a sensitivity to SLS (sodium laurel sulfate).My dentist and oral hygienist love and dislike me. I enjoy brushing and flossing after meals. I use more than the recommended "pea sized " amount of toothpaste and brush like my life depends on it. My teeth are in great shape but I have developed a sensitivity to SLS.The inside of my mouth turns white and then peels in small patches then sloughs off. There is a rather raw and painful feeling and the sensitivity of my teeth went through the roof.Sodium Laurel Sulfate is found in almost every toothpaste , it creates foam and helps remove debris.For the vast majority of people it is not a problem.A great alternative is Verve Ultra with fluoride.Verve toothpaste has no SLS or the alternative Cocamidoprpyl Betaine which acts in the same manner.My mouth is lef feeling clean and refreshed after gentle brushing.The only cons are the higher price point and the mint is flavor is milder than I would prefer.However it is well worth the tradeoff. Highly recommend.

I love that this is free of SLS and Xanthan Gum! That is NOT easy to find in a toothpaste. This is the only kind I have found which works and doesn't give me sores in my mouth. That said, it doesn't clean as well as my former toothpaste, Crest 3D whitening. I have found that using this along with a charcoal infused toothbrush, I can get the results I am looking for.

Full of chemicals and dyes

I get canker sores when using toothpaste with sodium laurel sulfate (SLS). This toothpaste has flouride, but no SLS. It is fantastic and has eliminated my canker sores, tastes great, and I swear by it.
