Hardcastle 9 Drawer Black Lockable Topchest Tool Box

This isn’t a tool chest you can realistically think of being mobile in any way, there’s no wheels and when it’s full it is a fair weight. This is exactly what I wanted as I wanted it permanently on the shelves. It has decent sized drawers, the lowest being deep enough to hold my planes on their sides and all my clamps. The other drawers are all of a size that make organising yourself easy. Although I won’t be using it the locking system is quite ingenious and looks very secure. Far from the cheapest chest at this size, but definitely worth the money and I would recommend it.

Fantastic box, sturdy enough for keeping medium weight tools in I wouldn’t expect it to be portable as in being swung from van to van but as a static tool chest I would recommend this highly. Well made, smooth runners. Arrived quickly and in perfect shape due to protective packaging. I will be ordering another at some point...........M

Very useful, I wouldn't use it to secure valuable tools, but for general storage it does a good job.

Very good box. Build quality good. Draw slide is smooth. Plenty of room in the draw. Use mine for my model building and have been able to get my paint,sanders, tools and all other odds and ends from two large size boxes I was using before.

Looks nice but poor quality. Everything feels cheap and weak. Keys barely work in the lock, lifting up the top compartments locks the hinges so you have to carefully fold the hinges as you close the lid to prevent them getting damaged. Even the little draws feel so flimsy I wouldn't want to put much weight in them. On the positives, the foam mat inside the draws is nice and the colour of the box/unit matches expectations.
