DSYJ Silicone Baking Cooking BBQ Basting Brush

This is a very handy cooking brush to have, especially since I do plenty of baking, and am often needing to 'butter the outside' or brush some 'egg whites' on to the top of something; the silicone bristles allow a good grip to the substance and, therefore apply smoothly and evenly to whatever bake you need to apply the liquid substance too. (For example; 'egg whites' on to a brownie batter.)I was going to purchase an alternative; the wooden handled brushed with firm hard bristles, but I am concerned that these would cause mould and I would also have that issue of bristles falling out, whilst being more time consuming to clean.Overall if you would like an easy to grip brush, which is simple to clean without mould forming or the worry of bristles falling out, then this is the cooking brush for you! (Also paid half the price for this brush than I would have in-store, which is really shocking, considering delivery was also free.)

I bought this brush for the coating of the chicken. I haven't use it yet but it looks sufficient for the job. I was only using feather brush so far and it was hard to clean and needed to be replaced regularly. That is the main reason why I bought the silicon brush as it can wash easily and should last much longer. Also it's a good value.Communication with seller who is customer focused was excellent.I would recomend.

It’s ok. Leaves marks on pastry but other than that it’s ok. Washes well in dishwasher

One of my very few bugbears with buying on Amazon is that I must remember to check the location of the seller. This item was purchased on 30th September, and arrived on 28th October, one day earlier that the estimated delivery date. It's a nice item, easy to clean, although smaller in size than a standard basting brush you might find in a supermarket. In those respects, it's worth its money. Problem is, I needed it several weeks ago.

I disliked the flimsiness of this product. The silicon bristles are so few and thin they are so delicate to wash with a high risk of piling off.I wanted to use it as s pastry brush but it was like trying to brush with paper tassels. Not fit for purpose, don’t waste your time or money.

It has a short handle and is very easy to use and to clean. The price was excellent. It took a while to show up but it was worth the wait. I love it and would recommend it to one and all.

Didnt arrive like picture, it was a flat plastic handle and very small. Its useable just not as advertised and at the price not a concern.

This little pastry brush is ideal for applying an egg wash or milk to baking. The head is detachable for easy cleaning. The 'bristles' are soft but strong enough for the job. It is only small but I find it better than a 50mm brush. I'm very happy with it.
