One of The Best Kinect Games ...
I was a bit sceptical when I ordered this game (as a gift for our kids - for XBOX 360 Kinect) but I shouldn't have doubted the visual quality and fun this game has to offer. Since Boxing Day, this game has sustained some interest and it must be good. I watched the game (rather a virtual reality?) being played and I must say the graphics is quite stunning and the interaction with the Disney characters is also well thought out and full of fun. In short, a lot has gone into the design of this adventure game to make it very appealing and interesting. Our kids have been to the real Disney twice and I'm surprised that they are not bored with this virtual reality substitute. Just to say that the quality of this game must be great to maintain such an engaging interest.A well-made Kinect game and highly recommended, particularly for the very young age.

Disney fans a must
This deserves its five star rating. if your a Disney fan or been to Disneyland then this makes a great addition as it has everything to bring that to life. Using the kinect with this game is great as you can say or use expressions to dance, hug, take photos of your favourite characters and even get their autograph as you explore the park. It also comes with mini quests to help characters out and also dotted around the park, either by running there or fast tracking, are actual games to play to earn stars and money. With the money that you earn, you can go and buy things in the shops like additional autograph books, costumes etc.

The adults in the family tested this game out for my daughters coming birthday and found it great fun even my eighteen year old son!! The cool graphics emerse you into the game with plenty of tasks and side games to keep you busy. Young and old kids will enjoy this game, great fun for all the family.

best game i have ever played
This game is so addictive that i was at this for 6 hours and hadnt a clue i was playing it that long. everything in the park is exactly where they are in real life so it sometimes feels like you are there and find yourself saying "i remember that". I did think when i bought this game that it would be mostly suitable for children but i am 29 and find this game sometimes hard especially trying to find all the mickey mouse ears and unlocking the secrets but once you get used to it it really is hard to walk away. so much detail and thought has went into making this game that even taking part in the haunted mansion task was just like the ride in Florida.I would definately recommend this for adults and children who love everything about disney characters and the park itself.

One little mistake....
The game is genuinely charming, and should captivate any child who has a passing understanding of the Disney characters. Disneyland itself has been well mapped, the graphics are perfectly acceptable, the learning curve has been well thought out, and the use of kinect is solid (the mechanic around hugging and asking for autographs works particularly well). In general there's a surprising amount to do, and assuming it holds your childs attention they won't run out of things to do in a hurry. As for the negatives, although the control method is about as easy as it could be made, anyone under 4 may find it difficult, and it also gets quite easily confused when people walk past the playing area. But these two are minor niggles. The most damning issue is the fact that you can't use your actual XBox avatar. It's an unfortunate decision on Disney's part, and it seems difficult to understand the reasons for it. That alone for me knocks one star off what would otherwise be a 4 star product. In summary, this is far better than I expected, and particularly at the price Amazon have it at at the time of writing, it's more than worthwhile.

Rubbish
Son bought this with his Christmas money, but just can't get it to work. Impossible to save, so can only play as a guest & then can't open new bits as not saved :( One very disappointed boy. We're off to the mouse this year , so it was bought on my suggestion to get him & his wee brother more excited! So I feel rotten too.

Didnt live up to expectations.
My son bought this fresh from his DisneyLandParis trip and played it just twice or three times, now it sits on the bottom of his DVD/Games box. This is essentially a walk around the park and some 'rides' which didn't interest my son. My son likes awe and wonder more than other 7 year olds, and has patience for games that others would consider naff, but this one simply served to frustrate and to be frank, had very little to it, some annoying voices that grate, and some confusing tasks that led me to have to 'google' on his behalf. My son likes Pixar Rush which is a slightly similar vein... maybe go for that one if you are tempted on this....I'd say this is the worst Kinect/Xbox game we own.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures (Xbox 360)
I bought this game for my 4 year old son, despite it being 7+. He absolutely loves the game. He can play it very well, and understands most of it, apart from missions where you both have to steer a boat a certain way at the same time. The Kinect does not recognise his voice half of the time, but that is not really a fault with the game or the kinect, but most of the menu work can be done vocally, from selecting your mission chapters to buying from the store. The game itself is very large. Disneyland is split into about 7-8 areas (Fantasyland, Critter Island, Frontierland etc), each of which you can explore by walking around and meeting characters and doing side quests. Each area also has it's own 'mission' games, for example, in Fantasyland, you have an option for Peter Pans Flight. In there is 4 parts, two are flying, one is sword fighting, and one is kind of a mix of the two.The different games to play varies massively, from sword fighting, to skiing, to Dancing, and there is a massive amount of smaller stuff to do, like photographing 12 hidden Mickeys on each area. For value for money, this is absolutely fantastic.Easily recommend this to anyone with kids 4+, I don't think younger kids will be able to grasp some of the stuff
