Tritton Kunai Stereo Headset - Black [PS4]

I bought these hoping to use them for my PS4.I did some research before hand and checked a few youtube videos and people said you just plug them in to your PS4 controller and use them as you would normal headphones.So I unboxed them and did this and found the sound was terribly low and in this mode I would not be able to mute the microphone either. Now the microphone issue is something I could live with but having been used to Turtle Beach headsets with booming bass and cinematic sound I was expecting at least a moderately loud volume.So I looked up online and watched another YouTube video where it said you could hook them up via USB and put the R&W cables in to the back of the TV, so I did that and there was a marginal increase in volume, it was rather pitiful.Now if this headset did not advertise that it could be used with a PS4 I would of accepted this mediocre offering but it does so I expected something a lot better.Also noted in another review there is a distinct hiss from the USB connection, whilst no deal breaker (the above was) it's worth noting.I took these out of my PS4 and plugged them in to my Mac and turned up the volume to find the sound was bland, lifeless and flat.Also, people who say these would fit over your ears if you have regular shaped ears, I find that terribly hard to believe. I'm not Gary Lineker (he has rather big ears) but I do not possess small ears either, I'd say mine are regular size and these sat on the tips of my ears and pressed against them, after a while I could imagine this to be very annoying.I didn't even bother to try and use the chat functions I boxed them back up and returned them to Amazon.All in all a poor experience, reason it's not 1 out of 5 stars is the actual build quality wasn't too shabby. Maybe expected too much, maybe I received a faulty batch but I'll spend the extra £30 and get a decent Turtle Beach pair.

They're great, really worth the money. I did notice noise at high volume, but that may just have been because I was playing an old cod and the actual game audio quality may not have been HD. I am using this on an xbox 360. At first I was worried it was not compatible as it doesn't say anywhere on the box that it is, but all you need is the hdmi audio adapter thing, which is the cable that goes into the big slot in the back, i'm sure you know which one. Then it works perfect.I'd rate 10/10, but the noise in the background at high volume meant I couldn't. If it goes on newer games I'll change my star rating to 5.decent product for the price though. Beware it isn't as big as you may think. The headphones don't cover my ears.They're comfortable but do feel slightly cheap plasticy...

Firstly I bought them for use on my PS4, and so far I've enjoyed using them. Simply plug them into the controller or for full use of the inline sound control into the usb slot. All you have to do is change the settings in the ps4 audio controls. The clarity of the sound is great and much more defined than listening through my sound bar... I've got big ears and they seem comfy enough, but they are new so may loosen a bit.Before writting this I plugged them into my phone to check some music out, and the sound is excellent. I gave it full bass and they cope very well. So for 34.99, I have no problems. I can't compare as they are the first ones I've bought for gaming.

This is an Excellent headset that I have ever got! They were some complications and I didn't even know how to use it, Thank god for Youtube! I searched it it on youtube to figure out how to set up, And finally! It worked! So I was setting it up for the ps4 and it works well, I tried going online and tested it out afew friends of Mine can hear Me well.ProsMic - Excellent!, It works perfectly!Sound - The Sound is excellent too! The whole All Audio option on the ps4 does well, so I cannot hear the outside of My life but I can most certainly can hear the in game!ConsThe ear pieces are slightly small, But is it worth it? It sure is! I wouldn't complain, Well maybe it is a complain but it dosn't matter.I give it a 10/10 only because everything I seen in the box is actually there! Perfect Gaming Headset Ever! I recommend anyone to buy this! It is a Must buy and Tritton Kunai Headsets are just Excellent!

I bought these after looking at reviews on here as the turtle beach headsets I've had for a couple of years have finally had it. I was so disappointed when I tried them on and plugged them in. Firstly they were very tight and after only a few minutes of wearing them they started to make my ears ache. I also found the sound to be very poor in comparison to my old headphones. Tried the two ways of connecting these to my PS4 and both ways were poor with the sound coming through sounding muffled. I couldn't even turn the game volume up to any sort of high level even after adjusting settings in the PS menu.Overall I was very disappointed. I wanted to find a new make for headsets as reliability ain't turtle beaches strongest trait but I would rather pay £40-£60 pounds every 2-3 years and have comfort and good audio rather than uncomfortable and poor sound.I can't advise which headset to buy instead as I'm trying to find a good one myself. Trying the PX22 next but if they ain't good they will go back too.

very high quality no problems until a long usage as the headset cracks and breaks after awhile. brought two as the first one was faulty and cracked and the second also cracked, it's very cheap for the quality you get, as the sound is superb no crackling easy use, however i won't be purchasing another just because i had the same issue. i recommend it if you have a low budget for a headset as it has high quality in aesthetics, function and ergonomics.
