MD Sports Air Hockey Table with Arcade Electronic Scorer, Perfect for Family Game Rooms

I took a long time making this decision...I did a lot of research and finally decided on this table...I read all the reviews and took the few negative with a grain of salt because all the negative reviews for EVERY different table were the exact same...blower motor too weak, box was mangled and table damaged, electronics didn't work...Although these were my primary concerns as well, I wanted a table and since literally every one had at least one of those exact same complaints, I figured I'd take a chance. I would soon find that any fears I had with this table were completely misplaced. Not only was it delivered early, but the box itself was completely undamaged. The table was so well packaged, there was no way for it to be damaged in shipping. Once I opened the box, I found the table in perfect shape with zero damage. Assembly is minor, just the legs and puck return. I assembled and flipped it myself with a little ingenuity, although I would recommend two people for the flip...It's pretty heavy. My only negative comment is the puck return. It's two pieces of flimsy plastic and they do not fit together well at all...the pilot holes don't line up either. However, this did not effect play or the actual return of the puck so far...plus the return is under the table, so it's not visible at all. The blower is very strong, the puck play is very smooth and fast. Electronics and sound effects are great. I read a couple reviews saying the pucks were too light and flew off the table. I crushed the puck on purpose just to see and it stayed on the table every time. All in all I was very pleased with this purchase. Great value!...

The MD Sports Air Hockey AWH090_017M has awesome electronic sound/scoring, LED lighting effects, and instructions. I have put together a few entertainment products as a dad and this product was easy to assemble and is a blast to play. It came via freight trucking to our door (it's heavy). Had a slight dent in the outer box on the corner, however, product inside was not damaged. Bottom line - the packaging was through and protected the product very well. Unboxing took two people. Make sure that once you select a lay-down area for putting unit together the box is upside down otherwise it will need to be flipped to install leg supports, etc.. The instructions are easy to follow and includes a parts tray with parts numbered to the instructions (see pic). Having a parts tray made the install easier and less time consuming. The simple hints found throughout the installation guide make the product install less stressful. No redo's as one goes along. On our unit the predrilled holes matched up including the overhead electronic scoring bridge. The electronic sound and scoring bridge is really cool. If you get caught up in the play - the electronic scoring will keep you on track (parents will like this feature - less sibling disagreements). It includes three different time modes and an option to turn off sound. The electronic LED light effects are great and carry over into the overhead scoring bridge. This unit is great and I highly recommend it (even for those with less experience putting items together). Table took approximately 2 to 3 hours to assemble with coffee breaks included. You won't be disappointed and the excellent customer support is great.

12/26/23 - The table comes in an a huge box weighting 295lbs, literally took me two hours and multiple trash cans to dispose of all the packaging materials. I finally get the table all setup on Christmas Eve and none of the lights or sound work. Very disappointing for a $1,300 table on Christmas Eve. I call MD Sports first thing Tuesday morning after Christmas, wait about a half hour even though I called at their opening time, and spoke to Jennifer. Who was not very apologetic and told me they will not send anyone to fix it, just send me the part with 4 screws when it’s back in the stock, but she has to check when that will be, and will call me back and email me when she has an eta in 24-48 hours. It’s now Friday night, no call or email, I called MD Sports within their business hours (they work on pacific time) it says they are closed. Jennifer also told me they are just a part supplier or something like that when I asked if they would come out and fix so I’m not feeling very good about this company and them standing behind their product. 1/4/2024 - Stephanie from MD Sports finally got back to me a week & a half later (not her fault) and now it’s not about getting the part into their warehouse now, but the part actually being manufactured. They want to call me back in 2-3 weeks to give me an ETA on delivery. Just an awful company who doesn’t meet their own deadlines or do what they say they are going to do. I am returning the table. Amazon btw says you need to ship the item back in the original packaging, which is impossible as with the staples and amount tape they use, you basically need to destroy the box to get the table out of it.

arrived faster than advertised. Had a small delamination on the outer edge of table which has nothing to do with game function, which was my fault when unpacking. I used a little contact cement to reattach and it is perfect. The blower is plenty powerfull and it plays just like one in an arcade. the score board works great too!
