Q: is that product light proof?

It will certainly reduce the amount of light through it but not light proof, it's a fan cover with a fine mesh to reduce the amount of dust being drawn into a unit. So I guess the answer would have to be no, its not light proof.

Q: does anybody know what micron size the mesh is?

Mesh strands are about 0.1mm thick with approx 0.8-1.0mm between them.

Q: How easy is this filter to clean?

I bought 3 and they are extremely easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Q: Does the filter fit fractal design define mini c ?

I think mini c has 120mm fan back and front so in theory yes if you purchase correct size of filter. Hope this helps.
