As a professional nail technician I absolutely love these chrome powders. The iced is a personal favourite and I even prefer it to the pro products I buy. Exactly the same quality and a good price too.

The reason I knocked it down a star is due to there being two different colours in the pack. One is a lovely white pearl colour powder, and the other is a more golden tinted colour. The white pearl one is my favourite and I was wearing it all summer last year! I wish they would give two of the same colour or inform you that there is a more golden one as well so you are aware but if that's what you're looking for then it's perfect.

This comes with 2 colours, one is a little more gold which I haven’t tried but the pearl white chrome one is amazing! Gave the effect I was looking for. NOTE: you have to use this on top of a fully cured no wipe top coat, then dab the smallest bit on your finger and rub it well over the nail and you will get the chrome effect. You get loads in a pot and if opened carefully does not explode everywhere - shake it to level it before you open. Deffo buy!

Was really after that pearly look like on the pictures but it was just a bold silver and gold chrome nail

The product itself is ok - In hindsight I think I would have preferred a compact powder as when I finally removed the plastic shrink wrap from the pot and undone the lid it practically exploded out and spilled over the lip of the pot.

Great product that works well

As others have said, although advertised as 2 x white, I received one white and one ithe a warmer slightly yellow hue. I've tried them over regular nail polish and they look lovely.

This shimmer powder is exactly what I expected from the description! Super shiny and so simple to apply! Originally, I heard about this at my salon where I paid a ridiculous amount of money to get the “chrome nail color” which was an additional cost on top of what I already pay for my gel nails. Once I saw how easy it was to apply, I searched amazon and found this product. You can see that you get 2 small pots of the shimmer powder and the application tools. I couldn’t wait to try it! So I applied it over my professionally done nails. It was so quick and easy! I just dipped the applicator into a tiny bit of powder and distributed it over my nails. I used a regular top coat to seal it. There’s no UV light required…Waited for it to dry and that’s it! You do not need to pay Solon prices for this look! Love the product and the price is unbeatable! 5🌟

I had never used this type of product before. I tried the M9 (white base) over regular nail polish + regular clear top coat and afterwards added another coat of just clear regular polish top coat. It did wear slightly. I then tried using the M1 (gold based) over nude builder gel polish + clear gel top coat and added a clear gel top coat over it, it definitely went on smoother and easier over the gel polishes and stays better with a gel top coat. But it DOES work on regular polish. Very pretty… looks nice over dark or light colours. Would look great for holidays as well. As a beginner I found this incredibly easy to use and apply.

If you’re looking for a chrome powder to do the glaze doughnut effect, this will get you close, but not exactly the same quality as tin man can from OPI. These are definitely more opaque and pearlescent. If you’re going for more of a pearl nail these are perfect. I don’t like the packaging, however, it scares me every time that I’m going to throw the powder across the room trying to get it open. if use a very tiny amount you’ll get a similar glaze donut effect.

These two chrome powders are beautiful and easy to use. They're also good value for the money given they will probably last a million years or so.

I tried using the powder on the tacky layer left after curing gel polish and then I realized that you have to put it on top of no-wipe top coat! Thankfully that’s all I use. When I followed the instructions it looked amazing. If you do it wrong it just makes it look like shimmering nail polish. Do it right, and it will give a mirror/chrome look.
