Best E14 LEDs I have found
It's easy to get good LED bulbs nowadays - as long as you are willing to pay ridiculous prices. These on the other hand are a good, sensible price. The colour is good, neither unpleasantly cool white nor a deliberately over-tinted yellow, so they replace halogen or conventional bulbs well. They are nicely compact (unlike many CFL equivelants) and still give light evenly in all directions. That was key for us, as we are using them in an upward-facing light fitting that needs to shed light to the sides. For LEDs that's quite unusual. So far they seem reliable, and I'll definitely be buying again. That's in contrast to cheaper LED bulbs, which have, in general, turned out to be a real dissapointment - whether oddly coloured, casting light in odd patterns, or simply not working.

Great bulbs to help save you money
I am slowly replacing all the bulbs in my house with LED bulbs. You can do this if you want to save money on your electricity bill whilst helping to save the environment. These come on instantly, unlike the old energy saving bulbs you used to buy. They have a lovely warm glow and will look like a traditional bulb, instead of the bright white LED lights you can buy.I'm very happy with this and would definitely buy them again.

High-quality non-dimmable Philips SES E14 golf ball bulb
I am using this bulb in a non-dimming touch lamp, which requires high-quality LED bulbs to eliminate buzzing and prevent damage to the sensitive touch electronics. The alternative is to use standard incandescent or halogen bulbs but this is wasteful in terms of energy efficiency. I did previously risk using two cheap LED bulbs I had spare, but one of them buzzed horribly while the other worked OK but oddly remained very dimly lit when the lamp was turned off but still plugged in. As expected from a Philips product, I had no such issues with these. The lamp instructions recommended 6W bulbs but I thought this would be a bit too bright for ambient mood lighting, hence opting for this 4W version. I'm very happy as they throw out just the right amount of light without being excessively bright. The bulb feels sturdy and well-built, and is excellent value given that it should last a long time and produce considerable energy savings through their lifetime. I also like the attractive recyclable packaging.

Bought for a quid, so I'm happy in context to where it's being used.
Good value at a quid delivered (prime). My concern, whilst being happy with pre-existing Philips bulbs (& their Dutch customer service) is that led output is not progressing within the company as much as others (every 6 months is kind of the new outputs achieved (lumens per watt) by other companies... Whereas Philips sits on its haunches the past 3-5 years.Yes there is brighter but this is perfect for a bedside lamp, bar the fact that over 3+ years other companies will have produced less that can emit more for less wattage expended. That therefore sucks if your concern is less energy used for the purpose of energy bills / environmental concerns. "Up to" is a broadly used term by companies where led is concerned (& for before it) ...that is in reference to the led module itself not the ad impacting components that together produce the light. The rule still applies, you get less lumens output per watt if you go for a "warm" spectrum colour such as this, so we tend to buy (except where price-point in cases such as this are) we'll opt for a "cold white" & reap the benefits of more lumens output overall. This was purchased to replace an old CFL bulb ( when originally purchased these mini "non standard" led bulbs were less available in this globe shape), ...this with the exception of solder failure down the line may even see me out).

These are great, a much better price than elsewhere and give a similar light to normal bulbs and not being over bright like many LED's.Update, of the 10 I purchased (5 in each light), one of them gave up after about 9 months, started flickering and making noises but (touch wood) the rest are still going strong, so it seems rather hit and miss.

A Very Bright Idea
Having realised just how many bulbs and downlights I have and are on at the same time almost on a weekly basis thought, apart from getting the the people concerned to switch them off I might be able to save instead of waste both energy and cash by switching to LED bulbsA little apprehensive as I was u der the impression the light would be dimmerBoy I could not have been more wrong these lights are bright, very bright and what I would call a clean lightNot sure the claims that rheymlast as long as they do are true but time will tell and I am one happy man knowing that this was/ is a great idea, now in a short space of time I have changed not just one room but ALL in my three bedrooms house

A EVITER TOTALEMENT. Obsolescence programmée ???
