Prompt delivery, well packaged so received in excellent condition. Maanaged to assemble it myself (retired 70+ y/o woman). Easy to adjust for strength needed. Now all I have to do is use it!

For less than £80 it's good quality & value. Was looking at 2nd hand ones locally (& on a certain auction site) - decided to buy new (12 months warranty & free delivery preferable against buying a 2nd hand one). Parcel arrived in 48 Hours from order, medium sized box - well packaged & instructions relatively easy to understand, i found it helped to have the expanded view from the Amazon webpage on the laptop - just to verify i was getting it right, so fairly easy to put together (took about 20-30 minutes in total). Easy to raise & lower the main seat support & comfortable to use, i am 6ft 3" & 95kg (just under 17 Stone) & this is a good quality & sturdy machine to use. I was a little surprised that at Max resistance on the dial - "10" it was still fairly easy to push, but i guess over a longer period of exercise it will actually feel more strenuous. Only con - the trip meter/computer does NOT switch to Mp/h (only Kp/h & does not record in imperial measurements. Overall = 4 Stars from me - i'm certainly glad i bought it & would like to recommend to 1st time buyers (like me) - if you don't want to splash out on a more expensive setup.

The first one of these we ordered for my wife got lost in transit -- so once Amazon had issued a full refund (promptly and courteously), we attempted to re-order and paid for express delivery. Unfortunately that took over a week, and courier couldn't actually deliver on the scheduled day so we had to wait another 24 hours before we received the item. The bike itself comes in a surprisingly small (and not too heavy package). The assembly instructions were straightforward, although some of the bolts and washers were already in-situ whilst other components were supplied loose -- which meant checking everything was there was a little more onerous than it might have been. The only tricky part was hooking on to the tension cable, but another reviewer had already flagged that so we knew what to expect. My wife loves the bike -- but is an exercise newbie rather than a gym-bunny. It's compact, and extremely quiet, which means she can happily peddle away in the corner of the room whilst the rest of us slob around in front of the telly. The LCD display is adequate, and cycles through a variety of information (time, distance, speed, calories, odometer, pulse) -- and you can set targets to achieve in your session if you want. I don't know how accurate the readings are, but we're measuring performance on the basis of how flushed/hot/knackered she feels at the end of a workout. My wife and daughter are 5'5" whilst my youngest son and I are 5'10" and the size is fine for all of us -- but we're only allowed a go on it when my wife has finished(!). It seems study and stable, and there's more than enough resistance levels for gentle-ish exercise and beginners like us. It's not meant to be a studio spin-bike, and the manufacturers say users should not stand up to peddle. My wife finds the saddle (which is wide and padded) a little too firm, so we've just ordered a separate gel cover to see if that'll make a difference. Overall this bike has more than met our expectations, and we're very pleased with it.

Goodness! I was expecting this to potentially be a heap of junk. It is not. It is absolutely brilliant. For the past 12 years I have fast-walked every day for an hour but it was recommended I give an exercise bike a try. I would have bought a proper bike but don't think I'd managed the hills in my area. I've had a couple of exercise bikes in the past years ago and they weren't much good. This excellent bike took about an hour to assemble. It looks really superb and is very neat and compact. It is also virtually silent when in operation - no clanging or anything like that. It is very smooth to ride. On a walk despite walking as fast as I could I never really got that much out of breath, but on this I can get out of breath within a few minutes by pedalling faster or upping the tension (obviously!). The build seems really excellent quality and I can't believe what good value it is. You can move it really easily from room to room but it's such a nice design and so neat it doesn't look at all terrible in my front room. If you want to get fit or need to keep supple, this is absolutely perfect. If there is one criticism it would be that though it's perfect for me - I'm just shy of 5 feet 2 inches - I don't think it would be ideal for people over maybe 5 ft 4 inches as the leg highest in any one rotation would be too scrunched up. I have the seat at slightly less than the max height. The manufacturer should make one of these for taller people as I'm sure they'd sell well. But this really is fantastic and I have no hesitation at all in recommending it. I'll be watching the Vuelta on the telly but don't mind being at the very back of the peleton! Another thing. I've been feeling about 102. I got on the bike and I feel about 25!!! Go girl!!
