Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pads Kit 7, 70 x 23 mm

Received this today and haven't stopped using them. they colours are strong and really blend well. I have used with he mini blending tool and they work really well. I have been working on cartridge paper and they have gone on really smooth and the colours blend and build up well. These is a good selection of colours. All the colours work really well together. . They are all stackable which makes them store away brilliantly. I have the bigger ink pads also and there is not difference in the colour, a lovely handy size to have.

These destress ink pads are great if you have small crafting area. Good for blending , inking stamps, can spray water onto the inked card stock.

A cool set of colours - Stormy Sky, Frayed Burlap, Dried Marigold, and Forest Moss, which are an cold blue-grey, warm brown, cool, muted orange and a kind of dark olive green/brown colour.Distress products are water-based dye inks that remain water-soluble once dried or heat-fixed so they will run/merge/blend if you get them wet (inc. using a water-based dye or pen over them), so keep that in mind. They don't give even stamping on photopolymer or silicone stamps - this is normal and intentional with this line. With rubber stamps they are better but not perfect - grey rubber seems to give the nearest to even that you're going to get with Distress but this was the designer's intention and is not a product fault.This is obviously a set of mini-ink-pads so they're great for fine detailed areas and for direct-to-paper methods.My favourite colour in the pack is the Stormy Sky, it's on the border or blue and grey and I can see it being really useful - it looks fantastic against the marigold.

BEWARE doe to the size, these to do stay wet ink for long at all, edpecially if you have a warm home!

Good value I got four colours for the price of one large one. Only complaint is that the lids don't stay on very well so even when stacked they come off

Work just like all the rest and I love the colors. Can't believe they are discontinuing the old paper color.
