Do these work with Playmags?

Yes they do. The boys use these with Magna tiles and Playmags. They really have fun with these cars and the price is great. Hold up well, none have broken yet, with three energetic young boys!

Do you need a set of blocks to use these?

PT20 set is only the cars. Essentially the carsare an expansion set to the tiles. But, there are several sets that come with the cars. PT180, PT82, PT121, PT120, PT300, PT26, PT20R, PT136 include the sets.
