This works well in some variable conditions and so far it stays put. Cold and hot have not dislodged or caused it to fall off windscreen. The tension on the clip is a bit fierce, but that can be good on some things. Fine for phone, a bit too tight for dictaphone which I use. Stability is great and permits easy voice commands without the trouble of vibrations interfering.I have only given it a 4 as the clip is a bit awkward to handle on an angled windscreen.

It’s ok is not the best

Great little clip, holds nexus 6p phone securely. I'm a bit heavy handed and have broken a few like this, and this is no exception. For the price it is a good solution.

Love using it in the car. It holds well to the windsheid no matter the conditions. It has only fallen off by itself (sitting in the drive) on extremely cold days (like ice and snow) and extremely hot days (35C+). But in the car with the heat or a/c on, it will stay stuck to the windshield no problem.claw is easily opened and holds well. very pleased.

I already have one of these items and very impressed with it so ordered another. However, Xtreme Auto did not send this item but something else instead which was not anything like the advertised item. I have returned it, got my money refunded BUT these guys don't issue Post Paid labels but say instead they will refund the postage. Many weeks later, Xtreme Auto have failed in their promise to refund my postage which was almost as much as the item itself. I'm an OAP and don't like seeing my hard-earned money wasted and as a long-standing Amazon customer, I expect Amazon suppliers to honour their promises.

This is great as it just about fits my iPhone 7 in a thick shock case. It is a bit of a squeeze but, so far after months of daily use, hasn’t snapped or broken. The suction cup was annoying initially as it kept falling off of my windscreen whenever I went over a pothole. This issue seems to have resolved itself now (weirdly) as it hasn’t happened for a long time.

I thought this thing was pretty decent, that is until it broke(at the plastic joint shown in one of the photos provided) which basically cause it to explode tossing my phone down along with the 3 parts not connected anymore which distracted me for just a split second but enough when traffic rapidly slowed down infront of me causing me to slam on the breaks to the floor. I barely avoided rear-ending the car in front of me and would strongly advise against this product.
