Good driving aid, if you make a habit of speeding slightly too much
This thing is great. It's done 2 things for me. It's helping stick to the speed limits and my Lucas diesel fuel pump failed in my van recently, I've been monitoring revs, the engine has been accelerating by itself. Also, I'm refecting straight onto the windscreen, only loss is when I drive in direct sunlight, does it become hard to see.Update.Unfortunately it's draining my vans battery. So not as good! Shame

Bad cable connector position, fiddly to install: don't bother
The cable attaches at the wrong side, meaning you have to wrap the cable around the device (unless you want the display upside-down). What a strange design choice. It takes a long time to position it such that you can see anything meaningful on the screen. The display is nice and bright but you'll end up seeing the box and the reflection, which could be distracting.A nice idea but ultimately a bit gimmicky and poorly executed.

Every car ought to have one of these
This is a very handy item, this particular make is just about the right size. Exact digital speed projected onto windscreen, can be recalibrate if required. Just been in Spain driving and being able to change to kmh is very handy. Engine water temperature isn't displayed in my car so this is also a great addition as I know when the temperature is correct to do a dpf regenerationOnly four stars because I needed to put a tinted piece of cellophane over the display to cut down the non illuminated reflection.Altogether very good, easy installation and reasonable price

Great little device!
Very happy with this! Very clear. I was worried it would cause a distraction but it doesn't. Much quicker to glance at a number on the windscreen than the pin dial lower down which takes a second to figure out what speed I'm doing.

Don’t use the reflective sheet
A little too bright when using the reflective sheet. Okay just on the screen though. The light sensor on the front appears to do nothing.

Golf IV: Funktioniert leider nicht
Mein Golf IV TDI BJ 98 hat eine OBDII-Schnittstelle, leider funktioniert dieses Gerät hier nicht.Eine nachträgliche Recherche ergab, dass zwar ein "OBDII-Stecker" im Golf dieses Baujahres verbaut ist;jedoch ohne die volle Funktionalität zu besitzen.Beim Seat Alhambra BJ 2008 TDI 2.0 funktionierte es erst wie es soll.Dann gab es unerklärliche Abstürze, Neustarts, Hängenbleiber..ich musste es zurück geschicken - Leider
