Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation, True Ivory, 30 ml

I've been using this foundation for about a year now and absolutely love it.I have spent loads of money on expensive foundations over the years & have to say that this 'budget' range looks far better on my skin than ones costing 4 times as much.It's great for daytime wear as it provides light coverage & really does make my skin look refreshed & brighter.It applies smoothly, using finger tips or a brush & blends in easily around the neck & hairline.I'm in my mid 40's and have a few lines & wrinkles appearing, I don't have any problems with this foundation sinking into my lines at all.I also use the wake me up concealer for under eye area & it's great for hiding dark circles and disguising tired eyes!!This foundation is also easy to remove using any cleanser or wipes & doesn't leave any residue.Very happy with this product & believe it to be excellent quality for the price.

Great product! I have dry skin and tend to sweat whilst working it has a hydrated look that stays on! Coverage is good with a natural look but if u just apply the amount u prefere I use about 2 squirts a tad more on a night out. Forever being told I have great skin. The only problem I have with it is that it has more of a peach/pink look and can sometimes look Orange colour against my skin putting it on but once it's on and I've blended with bronzer it's fine just go for the lighter colour if ur unsure between two. I've used this for about 3 years with the odd change but I always come back to this as it's alot cheaper and nicer than most!

Have been using this foundation now for more than a year. Used to buy expensive foundation costing 30 to 40 pounds. Was never really happy with them. Came across this foundation at my local Pharmacy and gave it a try. What a great foundation this is. Has a nourishing feel to it and a slight shimmer which somehow make the lines in your face less noticeable. Maybe not the foundation for women up till about 40 because it is quite "rich" and not suitable for a greasy skin. But it makes my skin look healthy, glowing and less lined with fine lines. Somebody gave a revue that the shimmer looked tacky and cheap looking, dont know on what type of skin they used this on, but this is definitely not cheap or tacky looking. This is not a miracle foundation, but to me it comes very close to it. The price on Amazon is amazing, about 30% off the price in the shops, so I bought 4 that will last me a whole year.

Reliable Rimmel.

Currently can’t get to shops due to recovery from surgery and ran out of foundation. I didn’t realise the product had changed from this to lasting radiance. This product I discovered by chance over a decade ago and realised why I lived it so much. There is a lighter finish and the overall coverage colour wise does appear lighter ( as in lifts dark circles ) for the colour I’ve selected. (Classic beige) if that makes sense? I’m fair so like a colour that doesn’t wash me out but doesn’t create a two tone neck.. this is perfect! I wasn’t sure at first as it is a real difference to lasting radiance but I actually love this more now and wish they still stocked it in the shops.

This was the first high-street foundation I tried and it's the one I always come back to. I was saddened that they discontinued it in the high street shops as I think it's amazing! It's a shame the price has increased due to its discontinuation too as the value for money used to be insane. Quite thick, but does what it promises, in that it gives my face some colour and takes away the eye-bags after a late night, making me look more alive, healthier and more glowing. I love that it contains shimmer because in the sun it gives the skin a subtle sparkley effect. I've also found that it lasts all day (literally all day- I can put it on at 8am and still be removing a full face of make-up at midnight). Would definitely recommend this for day-to-day as well as night-out use.

I was looking for a foundation for everyday use with good coverage that was inexpensive and I have found it. I use it with a primer and coverage is good all day. My uneven skin tone is well disguised. At least 3 people have said my skin looked good. This was a real bargain at £3.99. Much less than I normally spend on foundation and I will definitely be buying again....even at the full price of £8 you can't go wrong. The trick is choosing the correct shade. I believe I chose sand beige for my slightly sallow skin with slight redness on my cheeks due to broken capillaries which it covers as well as any of the more expensive foundations I use.

I don't usually buy Rimmel but it was half off for Prime Day. As it's summertime, I thought it'd be a nice way to pick up some cheap foundation to last me through the couple months where my shade is a little darker than usual. I'm quite pleased with it, though - it went on very smoothly (using a wet beauty blender) and looks nicer than some of my really expensive makeup does. It wears well, too, staying on all day without creasing or shining up. I've been so happy with it, I might never buy my expensive one ever again! I love when that happens.
